The ControlPlus2 app gives users full access to their Orisec intruder alarm system, anytime, anywhere. ControlPlus2 is for people who want complete visibility of their system, allowing total operational control, system event notifications and monitoring from anywhere in the world.
With the Orisec ControlPlus2 app you can:
•	Remotely and securely access your Orisec intruder alarm system from your phone or tablet.
•	Use biometric fingerprint and face recognition to login for quick and secure access to your app.
•	Access and control multiple protected sites, like your home and your office.
•	Arm, disarm or part arm any of your alarm systems through a simple intuitive interface.
•	Receive real time notifications from all your monitored sites directly to your phone or tablet.
•	View notification history from each monitored site.
•	View the real time status and recent activity of each monitored zone.
•	View all or selected event types from the system event log.

Horrendously lgggy. Often crashes. Dreadful considering it had to be used for home security. 
Also, the alarm system can’t be used without expensive annual app subscription (£50)

Only had the system a week but am experiencing connectivity issues as reported by others. Sometime the app connects first time, other times it will not connect at all. Once connected it’s well thought out and gives more information than I really need. Get the comms sorted and it will be 5 stars.

Have troubleshooted for months with our installers (different wifi settings, routers, internet providers and even hardwiring via Ethernet) and have concluded that the app is the cause of our connectivity issues. As with other reviews we get the spinning connecting wheel and then have to close the app multiple times before successfully connecting. Orisec need to work on an update to fix this.

The alarm company that installed the alarm updated our alarm system with the latest version due to connection difficulties. When it is working it is really good, however, there is a major issue with setting and unsetting  the alarm remotely on my apple iPhone. If I have set the alarm previously I have to clear my previous uses from the Home Screen before I can use it again. This is very frustrating, this really need looking into!

This is garbage, much worse than the app it replaced. Constantly offline. I’m considering getting a different alarm fitted so I don’t have to put up with this poor performance any longer. I’ve lost confidence in my system since the installer set this latest app up for me whilst he was servicing my alarm.

This worked for the first week now won’t connect,just getting a spinning wheel then says system doesn’t seem to be online check serial number shame really was ok when it worked.

I’ve only been using this app for about 3 weeks but am very concerned about its reliability. It quickly became apparent that, if it was to connect to the system at all without just a spinning wheel, the app needs to be manually closed after every use and reopened when needed. On several occasions now we are convinced an alarm was successfully set but on returning later have found the system UNset with no record in the log of it having been set in the first place. I don’t think this is the alarm system at fault but the app reporting erroneous results, such as confirming system set when it hasn’t actually happened. I shall continue to monitor and will track dates and times in an effort to provide useful feedback to the developer as I’d really like to be able to use this app with confidence.

I’ve just installed this app, everything is set up fine, but each time I go to connect, it says connecting and the boots me out back ro opening the app? I have uninstalled, clear cache. Updated my iPhone and nothing seems to work??? I have tried this app on 3 different iPhones and they are all doing the same thing? So unfortunately I’m giving it 1* as I can’t use it, so pointless having it.

Having just started using the app it's not a great experience so far

As we've just had the system updated we've had a few false alarms, which is fine, but when the app alerts me to an alarm it disconnects so I can't actually cancel or arm remotely, so makes the app pointless. 

Other than that it has some good touches, but the main feature failing is a massive downside.

The app needs clearing and restarting to work correctly.

The functionality is clunky

Should be able to change the colour way of the app.  The horrible grey is depressing.

Big improvement over the last version. Better UX and now it has Critical Alerts. My only suggestion would be to put the “full arm” and “part arm” buttons further apart so you don’t by accident click the wrong one before bed!

The app works well but has several issues:

I have to select the site when I login, most people will only have 1 site so why can’t it default to that and skip a step?
Why do I need FaceID to set the alarm but not unset the alarm? So anyone with access to my phone could unset my alarm as it doesn’t ask for FaceID. 
The app does not support time sensitive notifications, so if you are in focus mode you won’t get any notifications - eg at work that your alarm has been activated!
The alarm will not set if a zone is active, eg if trying to night set whilst going up the stairs. 

These are fairly basic things and should be included on an alarm app.

### ***** "Fast, Simple and Easy"
Used a number of alarm apps and this is definitely the fastest one by far. No delay or swirling circles whilst logging in, and everything is very responsive. 

In particular, I love the ‘Quick Arm’ feature that allows you to set the system straight away without waiting for the delay time to run out.

Really impressed with the Orisec system… it just does what it should do, really quickly.

When it’s connected to the alarm it’s actually pretty good. The UI is an improvement in the previous version. But generally spend more time opening and closing the app. Never connects first time.
