I was among the crowd displaced by Mint and I’m am honestly so happy they closed down - Copilot is much better and well worth the subscription price imo. I love the integration with Venmo and Amazon and I like that consistently recurring monthly payments (like rent or mortgage, internet, car insurance) are accounted for in the budget at the start of each month regardless of what date along the course of the month I have those payments set to draft. That way, it is really the variable expenditures that are tracked in my budget progress for a month. The AI categorization could use improvement but it’s not a big deal to me to manually recategorize things here and there.
I will say I have experienced glitches with the connection to banking institutions via Plaid (the reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars) and I wish Copilt would switch to a more reliable intermediary service. That being said, so far the customer service/IT support team has been super responsive and issues were resolved quickly.
The Best Money App PERIOD
So when I heard Mint was shutting down I was heartbroken. Having used the Mint app for nearly a decade I was able to keep an eye on all my assets credit cards etc daily. When I looked at other apps it seemed like no of them compared. Then I found Copilot. It blows Mint away. It’s not free like Mint but for what you get for so little money is amazing. Also, the customer support is top notch as well. With so much cyber crime these days it’s peace of mind for me to see my twenty plus institutions all in one place. All in real time. Thanks Copilot.
Some connection does not work
Some connection does not work including Merrill benefit, which was a known issue for >1 year. Customer service response usually takes 1 day. Otherwise it’s generally good and convenient. Hope there is a faster fix to these issues.
Long time user - degraded customer service
I’ve been a long time user but have seen the customer service degrade recently. I haven’t been able to connect to AMEX in over a week and the provided resolutions/workarounds don’t even work. Team has no ETA for a fix

This is my favorite budgeting app. It’s easy to use, beautiful, and customizable. It’s SO worth it.
It’s not free
Hate that I connected all my bank accounts only to know there is no free version of this app. Please make it a paid app instead so some of us freeloaders can save our time.
Needs monthly feature
Everything is annual based, for the price and work to set up monthly budgeting is imperative, especially for businesses to see trends.
