Cork City Council, in conjunction with our partners ParkMagic, has built on our existing Pay by Phone Service to ensure we continue to provide a convenient way to pay for parking for shoppers and visitors to our city.

I have never written a review before, but I feel it’s necessary to share my experience to help others avoid this app. I feel completely scammed, and I don’t understand how the city council allows this.

First, they charge a €1 fee every time you top up your account. Additionally, they charge €0.20 for receiving a reminder message, which they could easily do for free within the app. You can’t select the parking duration by hours: if you need to park for 1 hour, they force you to pay for 2 hours.

Visually and in terms of branding, the app is a disappointment. It feels insecure and looks like it was made by scammers.
