Ich war über 15 Jahre lang Teil der Community. Ich war großteils Gastgeber und nur einmal Gast. Ich bin auch Mitglied geblieben, als es nicht mehr kostenlos war. Ich denke also, dass die Community und die Firma dahinter von mir profitiert haben. Als ich dann einmal selbst Hilfe vom Support benötigt habe, war die letzte Reaktion sinngemäß "wenn's mir nicht passt, kann ich auch einfach mein Konto löschen." Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und würde anderen empfehlen, sich nach der Alternative umzusehen.

CS used to be an amazing app with a great community, but ever since they made it paid it destroyed the entire ecosystem and now it’s not even close to what it was before. Sad that capitalism is more important than making genuine connections.

I love the app. I used to be a couchsurfer, but now that I'm constantly broke, I am a host for all those surfers. It's my way to give back and to still make amazing experiences through listening to my couchsurfers' stories. I made some real friends through this app and hope to continue to do so. Thank you.

Es sollte zumindest ein Testzeitraum von ein oder zwei Tage geben. Zahlen ohne vorher eine Möglichkeit zu überprüfen wie seriös die App ist, geht gar nicht. Daher habe ich kurz im Internet recherchiert. Anscheinend geht es hier auch um Sport auf der Couch.

Seriously, you use Covid-19 as reason for a business model to first pay and then see what you get ? No, thanks.

The app is working great and I love the people on Couchsurfing. Unfortunately it’s getting always more pricey to be part of it but for me it’s still totally worth it.

Der Betrag von 1,99 € ist das eine, aber dass nach einer Verifikation einfach so 56 € abgebucht werden, ist schon frech. Ich konnte das aber nirgends erkennen. Und refundiert wird auch nichts! Abzocke!!!
