Pricing isn’t accurate. Ni free version so it should be considered a payed app!

This app is not free

After creating a profile and paying a “contribution” of €15 per a year (which is actually a recurring subscription) you’ll be told to verify your account for an extra €56. What a joke!

Should stay free

I used this app in the past and I was happy with it. I don't want to pay for it now because I feel like everyone is leaving the platform because of it so it must be harder to find couch surfers. I'd rather use a free app with a few adds.

Super concept mais quelques bugs

Le Concept de Couchsurfing est génial et répandu sur toute la planète (je l’ai essayé absolument partout). Par contre, l’APP rencontre quelques bugs de chargement (notamment pour les events et les hangouts). Espérons que ça soit corrigé dans un prochain update

Betrayal of its values

Volunteers built this community and it was taken over for profit and users barred access to their accounts unless they pay a fee. I’m not against fees but not like this and not off the backs of those who have been generous to volunteer and host for free.

Dommage que ce soit devenu payant

CS suddenly charges all their users for access

Suddenly demanding payment and locking people out of their accounts with zero warning or notice is despicable business practice and a disgrace to the community. CS doesn’t even own their decision, making empty claims that “they believe in something bigger than money”, while forcing you to pay just to restore access to your account. That’s not just bad business, that’s outright blackmail.

Le voyage pour tous ! Je l’utilise aussi bien pour des séjours longs et courts distance. Une application très bien faite, déjà recommandé plusieurs fois à des amis.

J’ai fais des rencontres inoubliables!

Je pense que tout voyageur devrait l’utiliser, c’est tellement enrichissant et facile! Tout est monétisé dans notre monde et ça fait du bien de pouvoir échanger sans parler argent, juste de la pure rencontre. L’échange de service n’est qu’humain et j’adore, j’adore, j’adore.
