Gun-point charging model?
Hello, once you say “we humbly ask for your help” you should at least leave some room for a person so it remotely feels like own choice. Very disappointed.
total crap
my subscription ended long time ago, i wasn’t using the app so didn’t renew it, went back to renew it charged me then didn’t work, just kept asking me to logout, sent email to support and got nothing not even an automated response
Absolutely great community, but the pricing model makes it small
I absolutely love Couchsurfing. It used to be great for traveling and meeting people. Recently, the new pricing model for 1.99€ per month made it difficult to catch up with people, since so many people are not subscribers. There are so many people who signed in more than 1 year ago and don’t want to pay the subscription in order to read one message. I would lower the pricing or try out different models. I hope that there will be a change. :)
Free app bad
When log in to app, app request for paying a member fees. But when paying finish, and trying to book a slot to stay in their house, almost 100% people that I try to book they decline my request. It hard to book the house on Couchsurfing because it free. So sad with the developer of this app
Some features and bugs just need to be worked on
Noticed a few things that were weird/not working at all and got me some pimples when trying to figure them out
Surprise pay freeze
Incorrectly lists me as available while locking me out my account
Couch$urfing has turned into ramsomware
Unfortunately due to recent and unannounced changes CS team has decided not to let long term users log in without paying a fee. Basically holding it’s userbase hostage unless annuall payment is made. My amazing 10-year journey will come to end. Hooray for crappy management and venture capitalists which totally ruined CS
Not letting you sign in without paying!
CS does not allow you to sign in to your old accounts without paying first. You cannot even delete your profile without paying or access your own information, and because of that CS practically hijacked your profile. NOT COOL! Do not use this app anymore.
