Last year I hosted a few travellers who visited my hometown. It was a great experience.

Personally, I love this app and always recommend it to my traveling friends. It has saved me in life more than once and given me a pleasant and interesting experience that can only be obtained thanks to this app. I think that the annual subscription is worth the money and it is normal that it exists. The only thing I would like to say about the downsides is the periodic freezing and platform glitches, especially with a large number of messages and the ability to write long messages. For this - one star. Hope you will fix that! Anyway thanks to the creators! We love you!☮️

Great for travel

Met many beautiful people and made many meaningful memories with this community and through this platform. Thanks!

First of all, my hat off to the creators of this wonderful platform. Made friends all over the world by hosting in Amsterdam since 2014. My only issue is that I have to pay the subscription fee anyway, while I only ever hosted, and didn’t stay with anyone. In my opinion an exception can be made for hosts, because they facilitate the whole platform.

You can meet great people with this app but over the past years it increasingly became a sex app for gay men. I’m not sure if I will extend my subscription in the future if they don’t fix this.

Please be very careful as they tend to charge you for the highest possible amount as soon as you provide a credit card authorization. I purchased a monthly subscription, but they deducted the amount of a lifetime subscription from my credit card. Their support team won’t accept this even though I provided a screenshot from my Apple iCloud Subscription which still said I had a monthly subscription expiring in less than 30 days. I now have to contact my credit card provider and have them reimburse the transaction. The strangest part is that they charged me for a lifetime subscription, but my account has just one month of full access and I have to keep paying for the monthly subscription to keep my lifetime membership which is paid already. I’ll delete and never use this App again.

Host people for free, no action if someone steals from your home, profile and references deleted if you do not pay them. Very disappointing policies. Host people for free and still CS expects you to pay monthly for the subscription. Good app for freeloaders and gold diggers, but bad for sincere hosts.
