Couchsurfing Travel App

Wonderful app. The only thing that would make it even better is if there was a search function in the inbox so that we don’t have to plow through over 50 messages. As in search for a persons name or keyword or place. That would take this app to the next level!

I have met so many incredible people because of this app. It’s sad that Couchsurfing took such a hit during covid. If I were a billionaire, I would definitely donate money to them. The app still works as well as it did before. It’s just sad that there are less people on it now. I want to help it grow back to where it was and even beyond. I love you, Couchsurfing app xxx

The app does not seem to let me search any location outside of my current location and unfortunately I fell into the validation trap to try and resolve the problem. Couchsurfing somehow fails to mention that validation comes at a $60 charge. I’ve been a fan of the company for a while, but I am quite disappointed with their new approach.

I can’t see the travelers on the search when are you gonna fix it ??

Don’t get me wrong. The community using this platform is fantastic. The possibilities it brings are amazing. I have met some fantastic people and had life changing experiences because of the platform. However, it has to be said - the app itself is terrible. Riddled with bugs - the notifications don’t come through, content disappears, UI is messed up and at times the text on buttons are unreadable. The hangouts feature is at a point where it is barely useable. Coming from a software developer, trust me - there is something seriously wrong going on in the app dev department!! CouchSurfing, please fix this app so we can use this wonderful service!

I wish I knew this app earlier. So many honest and nice people I have met using it so far, also ease of use is good

This app is not just for the adventurous spontaneous traveler. I have also made so many friends nearby when moving to new towns. Great way to meet people and make new friends.

Didn’t realise all the features available like Hang Outs until I downloaded the app!

Love everything about it except the fact that I cannot access the groups unless I'm on the browser:( but it's a brilliant app nonetheless! 🙌🏽😃

Works very well and the ability to 'block' days on the calendar is brilliant.
