 The Count the Kicks app is a free, research-based tool designed to help expectant parents monitor their baby’s health in the third trimester. With daily tracking of your baby’s movement patterns and strength, you’ll gather valuable data to share with your provider.
The app also includes built-in guidance and in-app messaging to help you recognize changes and feel empowered to speak up if something feels off. A change in fetal movement can be one of the earliest—and sometimes only—signs that a baby may be in distress. Monitoring movement is an easy, proven way to strengthen your connection with your baby, and 78% of users say it reduces their anxiety during pregnancy.

Do not recommend this app. You need to create an account to keep your kick history, however the process to account creation is extremely glitchy, slow and bugged. Once finally created it will not log you in and crashed repeatedly rendering the app unusable.

I can’t log in, I’ve made an account I keep getting a time out error issue it too me while to even be able to create an account

Super simple app, I appreciate that there's not a ton of bells and whistles, it just does exactly what it says on the tin. Per my midwife's advice, tracking two times a day at the same time of day has helped me get to know my baby's movements and being able to look at all my past counting sessions gives a very clear view of how active she is. Using this app has helped me have so much peace of mind knowing my baby is happy and healthy in there.

I love the idea of this app and that you can keep track of your data to help you notice patterns. Sadly, I was able to use the timer for the first time but the process of creating and logging into my account has been very glitchy. A spinning wheel pops up on the screen every time I try to log in and makes me think something is happening but after several days of trying I can’t access the account I created. I am officially giving up and using an app provided by my insurance instead, while it doesn’t offer as many features as this app does at least it works.

Only allows you to record the kick frequency and intensity without feedback. There should be an algorithm in there to alert users what is abnormal to speak with doctor about: minimum should be after 29 weeks, 10 kicks in the hour when baby is usually most active.
