Very easy to use, great product for a great price!

Cannot log in

I keep getting ..it wants me to scan a qr code for a passkey? When I scan it with my android phone, it says no passkeys available. Plus, I cannot even enter my password, won't let me. Help please

Update is terrible

You made an app that mirrors the website version. If I had a keyboard and mouse it would work well but it doesn't work well using fingers. I might as well just use the web version.

PWA is awful

Just cancelled my 8 year run with you. If I wanted to use the awful web version I would use a browser. The app was amazing but sadly no longer.

Charging money

As surprised to notice this week that countabout requires now a subscription model. No support for Apple Pay.

No update in 2 years!? Clunky app

I just created an account and migrated my data from a quicken file. That was probably the best feature of this product. However, the dashboard is marginally useful - you can’t move the widgets around and some of the charts don’t display properly. Reports feature does not have charts. This mobile app is even worse. It doesn’t even display a chart from the dashboard widgets. There is no way to resize many of the displays either. It’s definitely NOT a better look than quicken but I need to abandon quicken due to tech synch and update issues. They’re getting worse.

Great substitute for Quicken

When looking for an application to take the place of Quicken we came upon CountAbout. All of our many years of data in Quicken seamlessly transferred to CountAbout effortlessly.

Good Mint Replacement

After researching applications to replace Mint, I settled on CountAbout. The main reason was I thought I needed to be able to download a CSV file each year to run through a program I wrote to calculate income and expenses for my rental property. I’m still working on the conversion but I’m hoping I may be able to replace my program with a CountAbout report. They have a special setup for Schedule E categories. It costs $39.99 a year, which is about half of what I spend on TurboTax each year. It is well worth it to not have to scroll around all the advertising like Mint had. Credit Karma is even worse with ads and it doesn’t have the download ability.

Good, needs some work

Would be better if app (iPhone and iPad) could have full functionality of browser based app.
