Join users that have tracked over a million Disney & Universal vacations with the best countdown app on the app store.

"Hands down the best Disney vacation countdown app. Do yourself a favor and get this one!"

"Super easy to use, and I love widgets and Siri for checking my countdown."

"Love how I can make it look the way I want with nice wallpapers and my own photos. Two thumbs up!"

Countdown by Magical Trip Guide is the premiere vacation countdown timer app for Disney parks, Universal parks, and Disney Cruise. Simply enter your vacation start date and the type of vacation, and you'll get a beautifully designed view of the time to your trip, right down to the second. Customize the look of your countdown by selecting from a series of themed wallpapers, import your own from your photo library, or use the power of AI to generate a custom Magic Wallpaper.

** NEW: Track multiple vacations **

Tracking more than one upcoming trip? Add as many vacations as you'd like and switch between them with a tap.

Need more help planning your vacation? We've got you covered there too. Once you've set your trip start date, the app shows you a list of important to-do items with due dates — whether you're planning a Disney Parks visit or a Disney Cruise. Easily toggle push reminders or export straight to iOS calendar/reminders.

Countdown by Magical Trip Guide is also a great iOS citizen. It supports Siri Shortcuts, allowing you to ask Siri to "check my vacation countdown", right on your iPhone or Apple Watch and to incorporate your countdown into any routine within the Shortcuts app. With both home screen and lock screen widgets, you can check your countdown at a glance. With full support for both light and dark modes, the app looks beautiful under any configuration. And, for users of assistive tech, you'll find it is fully optimized for accessibility features such as VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.

## Countdown for Disney World Reviews in United States

### ***** "Good"
I’ve used it for a few years now. Works well. The AI integration for the custom background is cool.
-- Piano boss, 2026-02-24

### *---- "Not worth the price"
This is one of those apps that doesn’t tell you it cost money until you download it. And it’s a subscription based and if you ask me, it’s way overpriced. There’s a lot of better apps out there.
-- Thetechworm, 2025-05-28

### ***** "Disney countdown"
Cool app
-- MiMiRP, 2025-04-25

### *---- "Not that great"
I have reached out several times and never get any response. I have paid for this app and can’t even use it the right way. It won’t load on my widgets to see it and when I try to set magic wallpaper nothing happens. Very disappointing
-- Mayes6675, 2025-04-22

### ***** "Vacay Surprise Reminder"
Got a reminder today and now I am getting even more excited. Thanks
-- CJPicc2, 2025-04-19

### *---- "Simply Doesn’t Work"
Nothing about the app works: the widget, the slideshow, the countdown. Oh wait, the part where they take your money works, because this is a scam.
-- bowersroghelia, 2025-04-08

### ***** "Too fun!"
Great Disney prep hype!
-- DFore4, 2025-03-27

### ***** "Countdown"
I love using this countdown!
-- Jeaniepies, 2025-03-15

### ***** "Good app"
This app helps me remember about my upcoming trip
-- Deathbringer1000, 2025-03-10

### *---- "Great until it stopped working"
Downloaded app Oct 2023 and upgraded to plus. Was working great until last month. The widget was not updating but when you clicked into it, it showed the correct time. Tried restarting multiple times as advised in the app and it was still stuck. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app and now the widget is blank. Just a black square. Can still click into it to se time but isn’t the point to have a countdown widget? The support link here brings you to a page that doesn’t exist. Tried contacting through the Request a Quote form but haven’t heard anything. The website is a Disney travel agent
