## Countdown Star Description
Countdown Star is the best way to countdown to — and count up from — all of your favorite events.

Countdown to birthdays, holidays, an upcoming vacation, a wedding, the New Year, parties, sporting events, concerts and more.
Count up from anniversaries, the day you were born, and other special events in the past.

Update: I tried to contact developer, but he ignores all requests and doesn’t reply. 

New issue: Since update to iOS 18, widgets disappeared. Now, what’s the point of having this app???
The app does exactly what it’s supposed to do. But...once a date passes, it starts counting up! There should be an option to disable event when it’s time passes. Once the date passes, I don’t want to see it anymore!

I used to love Countdown Star, but now that they don’t support widgets anymore, I need to find something else. Having countdowns only in the app isn’t that helpful, I’m sad!

I’ve used this app for years and it’s tracked many events and vacations and is currently tracking 2 trips, but after the update it no longer appears in the widget screen. I would be happy with some communication on if it’s being worked on or if I shouldn’t expect it back. Being able to swipe over and see the count down was the best feature of the app. Hope it comes back.

I really like the app. But in iOS 14 you could see your countdown in your widgets. This feature disappeared with iOS 18 and I miss it. It’s the way I used the app the most.
