## Coverage? Description
Directly overlay and compare cellular carrier coverage maps! Perfect for travelers - research where you're covered across the USA (and now Canada!!)

** Follow our Facebook page to get update alerts: or check our support page**

Coverage? focuses on helping mobile bandwidth junkies find cell signal as they roam. Save time looking up coverage on the carrier's websites, compare their claims head to head and better plan your travels to stay connected.

** The carrier's maps in your pocket: This app contains regional level maps based off of each major carrier's data map - as of our last update. Quickly overlay the carriers you use to create your own personalized coverage map on your device.

** No internet needed: Our proprietary compressed coverage maps are stored within the app on your device - no downloading needed! Quickly access where you're supposed to get a signal, even when you have none.

** Urban and rural areas: Maps are at a regional level, and cover the entire continental USA, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

** Carriers included: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Dish/Boost, US Cellular.
** Canadian Carriers: Bell, Telus, Rogers (optional unlock)

** Know where to roam: view 5G, LTE, and roaming areas as overlays, focus on finding the coverage type you desire.

Check for a quick video demo.

We created this app because we are full time 'technomads' ourselves who rely on mobile data to work remotely. Keeping this app updated is a priority for us, as we depend on it ourselves!

--------------
Coverage FAQ:
Q: Why aren't the maps more detailed or released more often?
A: Our map updates require a lot of meticulous labor intensive processing. The optional HD maps are updated quarterly.

Q: What makes 'Coverage?' unique?
A: There are great apps out there that collect user submitted signal reports - we recommend them and use them ourselves. However, those apps are only useful in markets with an active user base. We took a different approach with Coverage? - we needed a tool to at least give us an idea of where signal should be - urban, rural, and out in the boonies.

Named 'Essential Tool' by Wired Magazine

** Winner - 'Most Useful App' - iOSDevCamp

"this app can be indispensable" - Lifehacker.com

--------------

The maps in 'Coverage?' are provided in partnership with Ookla, and represent proprietary interpretations of the coverage reported by each carrier. You should not rely on the maps in Coverage to be perfectly precise or absolutely timely.

Ongoing map updates have been free - but to support the ongoing development costs, we now allow customers to subscribe to higher resolution maps that will be updated more frequently.

Coverage does not report or predict signal strength (there are great apps out there for that!). We can make no promises as to where you'll *actually* get signal.. there are too many variables - towers, device, terrain, weather, etc.

So… Got Coverage?

## Coverage? Reviews in United States

### ****- "No Boost wireless"
Boost wireless is a nation 4th carrier. Why don’t you include its native 5G coverage?
-- Tanisha753, 2024-12-26

### ***** "Awesome app. When's the next update?"
WHENS THE NEXT UPDATE?????!!!!! 😠
-- Rene04destiny, 2024-12-01

### **--- "Memory leak"
App has a pretty bad issue or memory leak where it uses majority of the CPU. Must be quit out completely as to not run a mac or ios device hot.
-- ericmeds, 2024-02-08

### ****- "When is the next update?"
I see the last update was in July and have noticed areas that have updated more towers to 5G & 5Guw
-- cocsmith, 2023-10-30

### *---- "Changing my review to one star because $$$"
When you purchase this app they make it seem like you get all the maps in HD but when you try to look at 5G millimeterwave you get nothing and then you find out you have to pay another five dollars a year to get those. I wouldn’t mind paying the full price for both of those if you were upfront but you’re weren’t. This is childish and deceptive and therefore it makes me question the whole app in general.
-- ChristiansReviews, 2022-12-28

### *---- "Useless"
Paid the $2.99 for the app, then tried to update to HD maps to so called get better views…….I GET NOTHING!!! Going back to Open Signal.
-- TheGhostface, 2022-09-04

### *---- "Caused iPhone 13 pro max to get hot"
After installing this app, I noticed my iPhone 13 pro max was getting uncomfortably hot. I deleted the app and things were as before. Something’s amiss.
-- fhfjcjfhejdhfhrhrudjdhdhdhduf, 2022-04-09

### ***** "“Coverage” is fantastic!"
This app is great at showing you a fairly detailed look at where you can expect cellphone coverage. It’s also easy to use and the support is great.

One last thing is that I first purchased this app 8+ years ago and it’s been regularly updated ever since with no additional payment required. It’s just been such a useful app with fantastic value. The developers really should be commended for the way they’ve supported their customers throughout the years.
-- Kleinias, 2021-05-29

### *---- "Where are the Towers?"
I find this APP totally worthless. It shows that I have coverage for both T-Mobile & Verizon here at the campground I’m at in Amboy, IL. My phone with Verizon has a terrible connection here and both of my Hotspots with T-Mobile & Verizon are useless. Yet this app shows that I have coverage. The App does not show where the Cell Towers are unless they are on the “Optional” $5.99 upgrade.
-- Iron Rick, 2021-05-19

### *---- "I don’t understand why this is rated so well"
App seems nearly useless. Just the stock coverage map provided by the provider. There are better apps out there than this.
