App should not replace badges

I’m extremely disappointed that CPhI has done away with physical badges and replaced them with this app. I walked away from CPhI Frankfurt with hundreds of business cards. No one wanted to open the app to scan their “badge.” In addition, it makes it difficult to know who you are talking to. Is it a potential customer or a competitor trying to snoop? Extremely inconvenient and disappointing after how expensive this show is to exhibit at.
