## Cranky Uncle Description
We all have a cranky uncle who thinks he knows better than the world’s scientists. But how do you make sense of his arguments and conspiracy theories? The way to understand your cranky uncle is to become a cranky uncle! If you’re going to spot someone cheating at cards, first you have to learn how to cheat at cards.

In this game, Cranky Uncle teaches you the rhetorical techniques and logical fallacies he uses to deny science. Climate change, evolution, vaccination, a round Earth - he’s never met a science he wouldn’t deny! The deeper you get into the game, the more resilient you become against misinformation.

## Cranky Uncle Reviews in United States

### *---- "not working"
app doesn't work, just stuck on the start playing, there's nothing under denial, about or progress, all blank
-- wudugat, 2026-01-22

### *---- "Not working"
Doesn’t even work
-- rlil83, 2026-01-16

### *---- "Cranky Uncle is a Fake Expert"
Developed by Skeptical Science, a website devoted to true ‘Climate Science’, and against real scientific discussion, the app brands as ‘misinformation’ anything that questions the status quo IPCC view, and it brands as a ‘fake expert’ any retired physics professor from Princeton. But Climate Science relies upon the basics of physics: Arrhenius, Stefan and Boltzmann, Tyndall, Planck … they were ALL physicists.
It’s this app that’s the Fake Expert!

### ***** "This game is better than reviews say it is"
This game is insane and is worthy of a 5 stars and an encouraging review to get others to download it some very ignorant people have actually committed impossible expectations which this app has taught me how to catch these people are complaining about every single glitch and bug and expecting the app to fix all of them. Such as “the game wouldn’t load” I have not experienced this issue so it must be there internet. People are also spreading lies about this app saying there committing fallacies when it is clear there’re not. The only fallacies in this app are either examples or tests to see if a person can spot them. Also all the bugs people are accusing this app of having are false there could have been bugs in the past but this app is clearly bug free. Any review below 4 stars was probably written before I downloaded this app or is a complaining person on the internet trying to go after a small business for attention. Please download this app you will love it. It can help you improve your grades, get better at logic, catch formal and informal fallacies, and improve your debating and reasoning skills. I highly incentivize you to download trust me you will not regret it

### ***** "it’s a game!"
This deserves five stars. My professor told my class that if we reach 1500 point we get extra credit and this game is simply yet isn’t too bad. I like it.
-- sawdee g, 2022-09-01

### ***** "Works great, fun way to learn."
I had to really think about many of the questions. I also found the explanations to be insightful and easy to understand.
-- TryAnotherNickName756, 2022-07-29

### *---- "Does not work"
When I click on Quiz it brings me to a plank screen
-- M.A.G.S, 2022-07-22

### *---- "Dreadful"
The app attempts to teach basic logical fallacies, but unintentionally commits several itself. Not recommended.
-- davnsuzy, 2022-07-16

### **--- "Not working"
Great idea but doesn’t work. When I click quiz, nothing shows.
-- jpjpjjj, 2022-05-22
