What other people have been saying about Cribbage With Grandpas:

"It’s a well-designed mobile card game, but the real stars are still the grandpas. Grandpa looks down at his cards while thinking, then back up at you when talking. He falls asleep when you take too long to play. He makes little rhymes while counting his crib. He brings the game to life in ways a username on a background never could. We couldn’t have cared less about cribbage before, but now we love Cribbage With Grandpas."
- Jillian Werner, GameZebo

"I feel disproportionately happy that this exists." - Willpie, MetaFilter

## Cribbage With Grandpas Reviews in United States

### ***** "I love my grandpas"
I’ve played this game more than any other on my phone. Cozy, clean, a great way to learn the game or keep up your crib chops. Full of delightful details and seasonal easter eggs (especially lovely to play during christmas!)
-- John42364901, 2024-12-19

### ***** "Fun way to learn and play cribbage"
This game provides an excellent way to learn cribbage, and play solo games.

The premise of playing against a grandpa at first felt a little odd, but actually gives the game a fun personality
-- leejoramo, 2024-11-17

### ***** "Best crib app!🤘😎🤘"
Seriously. This app is my go to app for cribbage the last 5years.
-- Ms.Mellymel, 2024-11-16

### ***** "Cozy card game"
Great for falling asleep
-- Nick Name RP, 2024-09-28

### ***** "Best cribbage game by far"
The play style and feel of this game are incredible and exactly what I’ve been hoping for in a cribbage app.

This game is a good cribbage experience while also being so sweet and wholesome. I immediately designed my first in game grandpa to be just like my real life grandpa who died less than a year ago.

We loved playing cribbage together and he would’ve gotten a real kick out of this app.

Thank you creators for a great game and a sweet reminder.
-- Ntdntd777, 2024-08-24

### ***** "Why do I love this so much?"
I love to play with my family and my dad is easily one of the most hilarious to play with. This game is awesome to where I feel like I’m playing with dad. I have even one a few times!
-- Kristin Record, 2024-08-07

### ***** "My favorite game"
Love this game! It’s so cute and the cribbage play is great. The game taught me cribbage and it’s my go-to idle game.
-- JasonAronson, 2024-06-11

### ***** "Stats"
Can you add stats at the end of the match for where points were scored? Your hand vs crib, vs pegs?
-- Ken Laszlo, 2024-06-05

### ***** "A Great Intro to Crib"
I’ll admit that I had this game downloaded and ready for QUITE a while, but I finally took the plunge recently…
…And I regret having lost so many opportunities to have an enjoyable game of Cribbage during downtimes. Never having delved into the rules, the whole pegboard thing had me staying on the sidelines, but now I have no idea why I let it get to me.
This is an enjoyable experience. If you feel your opponent is too lucky (experienced), just reroll your gramps into one that doesn’t have as much xp in this game!
Love everything about this.
Know it’s been a few years since the last update, but everything still seems to be working just fine.
-- loowee23, 2024-01-21

### ***** "Makes me feel like Papa is still here"
I was 16 when my Papa passed. Probably 10 when he tried to teach me cribbage. It was too confusing for me at the time. When I learned to love cribbage in young adulthood, I couldn’t shake the guilt over never playing with Papa.
Then I found this game. I know it’s weird, but it helps me remember him and feel close to him. You can even customize your grandpa’s characteristics, and “sore loser” is an option. Papa used to say, “You show me a good loser, and I’ll show you a loser.”
This game really feels like a little piece of our relationship that I wasn’t patient enough to experience in childhood, and that means so much to me.
