## Cricket Captain 2025 Description
Build your dream team with Cricket Captain 2025. In a packed international season, Test cricket takes centre stage with Australia taking on South Africa in the World Test Championship final, followed by India’s tour of England and England’s tour of Australia. 
Cricket Captain has a completely new look, with a beautifully designed, clean-look interface, reducing distractions and helping take gameplay to a new immersive experience.  Taking feedback from our fans, we have updated the match engine and player generation to bring more balance to scoring rates and wicket chances in 20 Over games. We have also improved the speed of the game engine allowing faster progression through seasons and matches. 

The new in-game Player Editor feature allows for editing player abilities, including batting, bowling, fielding, aggression, and opener type. For the first time, you can adjust your players as you want without sacrificing the core player-selection game play.
Cricket Captain 2025 expands our database once again, including individual most wicket and runs season stats for international teams. Improved interface and options allowing faster access to the vast database at the heart of the game. All domestic systems have been updated to include the latest developments around the world. 
Key features for 2025 include:

    • Score Predictor: faster score predictor for more immediate feedback.
    • Updated International Team Rankings: calculated from last 4 years results.
    • International Player Rankings: updated with historical data.
    • International Trophies: play in ODI and 20 Over International tournaments.
    • Updated Pakistan Domestic System:  18 new teams playing all three match types.
    • Domestic System Updates: all systems updated to latest rules and formats.
    • Test Championship: updated for the 2025 season.
    • Tournament Modes: play in stand-alone One Day, Asia Trophy or 20 Over World Cups. Create your own World XIs, All-Time Great and Custom Match Series.

I am enjoying the game but the one day format is impossible. No matter what I do with team, tactics, field, batting aggression, coaching etc I can hardly win a game. Test format is good and at least have a chance of winning and I feel the in game changes I make actually can have an impact unlike the shorter formats. Player names not being right is a frustration especially when paying for the full version. 

Will continue playing but the one day format may lead to me becoming frustrated longer term.

I have played every Cricket Captain since the 2001 instalment. 

To lose licensing on the players renders the game absolutely pointless for me. Basically ruins crickets version of Football Manager.

Until this is rectified I just can’t bring myself to play.

Like the real game Cricket Captain is a game of tactics and skill. I am so pleased with the updates to this version it gets better and better!

Ignore the negative reviews about the player names. I assume the game creators are being hit by ridiculous licensing issues for using a person’s name.  It is really easy to change the names of players, just watch the video on CC YT channel.

Would highly recommend this game!

This is a huge downgrade for many ways, UX worse, player name issues, looks worse and less efficient - when I wrote 
 my very legitimate review the other day, there were many other accurate low reviews, and now it has a 4.7 rating and all the bad reviews are gone

Better than last year for sure, obviously the names are annoying but anyone who can’t fix it, find the international cricket captain fan page on Facebook and there’s good solutions to fix on there that work within minutes. The new UI is good, some improvements to be made which I already know you’re working on. One quick one is that with the iPhone line at the bottom of the screen, moving the conditions (at toss screen) up a little bit would make a big difference. T20 games are still very difficult and test matches are a bit too one sided, you might win by an innings and a bit in 3 test matches and lose the other 2 by the same margin. Still an amazing game and one I will continue to buy every year. Keep up the good work!
