Cricut Design Space

Awesome!

An expensive machine and subscription for an app this company doesn’t manage well at all. Opening a new canvas causes it to crash without fail. Do NOT use the iPad version.

Would be nice if it could find my machine , but feel like the Bluetooth search does not work And I cannot use the laptop as the app doesn’t work, I’m even wasting money paying for a premium account

This is a very confusing app to learn, especially if you are using the app on a computer and then go to the tablet app. Completely different to use.

And the amount of times it either crashes mid project, won’t print or won’t connect to my vinyl cutter, or straight up just won’t open at all and instantly crashes on launch is ridiculous.

Horrible!!! Why are you always changing it??? I’ve spent the last 30 mins trying to get in or download it again and nothing is working 🤬🤬🤬

Since the last “bug fix” update I am unable to access any of my own images as the app just crashes. I have restarted my iPad twice and made sure I am up to date on the app and still I can now no longer access my uploaded images. I am on a deadline for what I am creating and am now in a bit of a panic and stressed that this will not be resolved in time for me to finish. Also, I have an iPad 14 Pro so if I need to have the highest ISO, I do, and your app is still not working crash, crash and crash again anytime I try to access any of my projects. Please fix your fixes.

I had major issues in Design space last week! I was cutting a design out of iron on glitter for my Grandson’s 6th Birthday! My Explorer 3 started to cut really super close to the top edge, of My vinyl, it did cut all of the lines of every one of my letters that were part of my words, and then started cutting lines and leaving spaces that were not part of my planned image!! It was sooo incredibly frustrating as well as expensive as this happen several times has my project had many layers of colours!!! I was using a brand new replacement blade and mat, so the issue was not that, plus it started way to close to the top edge and added, and missed cutting necessary lines!!! I also want to mention just before this happened my machine did the most recent update for July 17th, which I later really wished I didn’t do, because it had been cutting, and starting correctly before this! At an important time for me, it was Such an enormous waste of my time, as well as a great waste of expensive material!!! It was so enormously frustrating because I was trying to get the tee shirt done quickly before my grandson arrived!!! Great Frustration I sure did not need!!! I fixed the issue after searching out a resolution on line from other Cricut users! They said to turn my machine of, and then unplug it, and after waiting a few minutes, to plug it back in and turn it on. And re-open design space. I followed their directions, and when I plugged it back in and started it up, it worked fine from then on! I actually got a suggestion from design space to do exactly what these other Cricut users had suggested! Needless to say I definitely was not impressed with the performance of Cricut or happy about the waste of my product!!!

Cricut has removed so many features to push you to buy design space and now this damn app cannot do a simple basic cut without giving problems.
