Cricut Design Space

Every few weeks I waste so much time with the app and its glitches. Redesigning work that has parts turned blank so have to start from scratch. Seriously, next time is a silhouette for me

There are 3 issues I have with this app and these seem to be very common with all other creators too: 1. When using print and cut, there’s a horrible dark outline around all the lines of an uploaded image. I made stickers and every single one had a dark outline around it when printed. I tried everything to fix this, however it is an issue in the app itself. Today I wanted to print and cut a simple, one line image of a dog but once I pressed make it, the image on the matt appeared with a dark outline around all the lines on the image and it printed this way too. When uploaded to Design Space it is nice and clean with only one line. From what I read on the internet when trying to fix this, it’s a very common issue that doesn’t seem to have a resolution. Please fix it! Changing the offset and whatever else does not work-I tried it all and wasted so much time doing this. 2. When using a simple cut or cut and print image and try changing it to draw with pen, the image changes from one line to a double line. Why can’t this be a simple one line like the initial image? It slightly changes the way the initial image looks. This again an issue a lot of creators are dealing with and there is no way of “turning this off”. I want my pen to just draw a simple one line, just like the image I have chosen in the app I pay for. 3. When writing text e.g. a wish into a card in Design Space, after a couple of lines it gets very hard to write and almost impossible to edit this text. The cursor never appears where the text is being typed-say I notice a typo and when I try to click to place the cursor there to correct it and start typing, it types somewhere completely different-iOS and Windows there is no difference. And also the more you type the slower and more painful it gets to put the text together. The cursor issue is very frustrating though because even if I give up and delete all the text I typed after the typo I made I still can’t place the cursor where I need it to be. I love creating with my Cricut but even something like not being able to write a longer text in the app gets so frustrating it puts me off using it.

Much preferred the original Cricut app. It was much easier to navigate, design and print. This new app lacks all the features I loved in the previous app. Constant glitches with the new app. Very frustrating working in a face paced environment and the app can’t do what it’s meant to.

Have purchased on my iPad the subscription to use my machine. I have been charged through Apple Pay and the subscription is not working. Apple won’t refund and cricut wont do anything coz it’s says I haven’t purchased on my account! Absolutely disgusting carry on from Apple and Cricut.

Problems with print and cut for the past 3 days.

It can do brilliant things and i cant amazing items if it work. Most of the time app wont open files i spend more time fighting with it then making anything. Im glad i didnt sign up to pay for it as doesnt work

For the price of this machine I’d expect much better . Fiddly and inconsistent. New iPhone update has messed things up AGAIN!

I find the app on the iPad can be unreliable it crashes sometimes when they do an update and I find if you want to write out something long on it it won’t work

Only lets you have one account so if you try to set it up it won’t let you. Also on a laptop it won’t let you buy the program in Ireland It seems like it’s designed for American use only. The app is also super laggy and unresponsive

Been using this app for 2 years and paying subscriptions. Since the recent updates it’s so glitchy. Cuts you off mid project . So many issues with the text box tool. Glitching constantly so disappointed
