## CrimePad Description
CrimePad® is the professional-grade app to bring the power of today's best mobile technology to criminal incident & case management. We have helped to redefine case management processes to take full advantage of mobile workflow allowing 360º view of an active case with information flowing from minute 1. Personnel can stay in CrimePad all the way through to final report writing and case closure.

You will speed up your entire case management workflow allowing CSIs, investigators, first responders, supervisors to go completely paperless, reducing all the duplicate redundancy that is inherently part of a paper-based workflow.

CrimePad elegantly scales from a handful of investigators in a small department all the way up to an entire country's case management and case tracking system. CrimePad is currently in use at some of the largest Police Departments and State departments in the US.

The system is fully compliant with the latest security requirements of CJIS and FIPS standards for both State, Local, and Federal usage.

You can manage the following in CrimePad:
• Task Management - Organize workflows for your personnel both within a case or outside of a case.
• Incident Management - Capture all the relevant information pertaining to an incident and convert it to a case if necessary.
• Case Management - Track Case Status, Leads, Warrants, Operations, Surveillance, Interviews, Tasks, Canvassing, Arrests, and Bookings.
• Crime Scene Management - Track Scene, Address, Evidence, Techniques, Sketches, Vehicles, Bodies, Exams, Chain of Custody, Photos, Videos.
• File Management - Organize all the photos, videos and files that are relevant to the case.
• Field Reporting - Auto generate both field reports and final reports.
• Integrations - Integrate into your LIMS or RMS systems to avoid double-entry.

Can it be used for a murder case as a friend of a murder in Oregon ?

I enjoy using this app so far as it's got a clean layout and like the fact I can bring my entered case files up at anytime, what I don't like is the customer support in not reactive, emailed them more than a day ago on a question I had and about 12 hrs ago completed instructions to unlock full version and only thing I got out of each was a automated email stating they would be in touch shortly. Don't appear that's going to happen. I have hopes for the app though.

### ***** "This is an amazing program"
While there is a monthly fee for this program, it is worth it for your department to use this software. The software has a place for most all needed information and is easy to use.  They provide a tutorial session and it is important you take it or you will not be able to get the information and reports off of your tablet.  

Also remember, that if you use this software, your tablet can be discoverable in court. No big deal but important to remember.  

The support turns out to be top notch also.
