The game is super fun, quite good to play on both mobile and phone. I think it could be better if you could add power ups for particular characters, like the flea is so small that surely there should be at least one chance for it to slip under a car, or the fish might be able to swim in the water if it misses a log jump. Thanks for making the game, hope this review was helpful.

Love this game I guess some updates could be made though But one thing I really want to say that has nothing to do with Crossy road is that Aussie rules AFL game is Great and I’d really Love if you could make an APPLE ARCADE game that involves AFL in it because besides from running it is my 2nd favourite Sport. I gave this game five stars because it is a Wonderful game and editor please tell your boss or however is in charge that an AFL APPLE ARCADE game would be the bees knees.

I like the core game but there are easy to fix flaws to get that final star:

I dread using the coins to unlock characters as it takes so long and you can’t skip the indulgent animations, then it makes you go back to the island and slowly reveal and populate things, there is no fun to be had there.

The above causes me to lose my coins for unlocks when I got a new iPhone and transferred across - they don’t sync coins and can’t transfer them via support for the Apple Arcade version - super lame.

The reward system is broken and has no skip challenge mechanic, so if you don’t ever get hit by trains you have to just decided the next time the map spawns to just stand there in the track as who is going to intentionally want to waste a good run with a suicide.

Also reward system lacks variety.

unrelated to the star rating but I feel this games devs need to play Pac-Man championship edition as a good example of mixing things up on an established gameplay loop as inspiration for new modes and modifiers - maybe for a sequel or spin off of the core concept.

The “Crossy Park” feature is a great noticeable addition to the apple plus version and gives returning players a new experience as well as a sense of nostalgia from elements in the original. The decorations in particular act as further motivation to collect all characters in order to complete your collection and fully decorate the park. However the addition of the “jobs board” makes the process of buying a new character too easy.
The tasks are very repetitive and generic. Most of the time it would only take me 5 minutes to gain enough coins for a new character taking away challenging aspect of collecting coins the original had. The job board also doesn’t have any limit to how many tasks you can complete in a day making it feel like an endless money source. I feel like daily tasks would suit the game better and give players a reason to play the game each day the same way the free coin gifts did in the original. Disney Crossy Road had really great daily challenges which were unique to the characters and each of the worlds. They were also more difficult which made it really feel like an achievement when completing them. I also feel like the game could use more achievements which could potentially unlock exclusive characters and give players something else to aim towards even after completing the park.

This game is really good! It certainly reminds me of the original Crossy Road! 
My only criticism is that getting coins is really easy, but it does mean that unlocking more areas of the park can be done much quicker!
I also think that something that tells you your all time high score (no matter which character used) would be good as well.
Really great game though!
