So I watched the app while travelling and from home. I always have streaming issues. Like the screen is always loading. Doesnt matter if I have 2000 mbps internet or 600 its always loading on 5G too. I am kinda bored of it. Although i ve been a paid member for years. Last year i went and watched 400 hours of shows while travelling and was always loading. Bit disappointed to be frank… wathcing from EU mostly. But last year was watching from US tooo same problem.
Not the best optimised application. I have written to them several times about the fact that even though there is an option for English subtitles, if you are watching in English it is somehow not available... I don't know why this can't be fixed or rewritten if there is no such option. The reason why I give only 3 stars is that they have not responded once to this request.
Its so laggy in the past one mont and i cant watch an anime episode without its stopping 30 times and its now my internet cuz everything else working smoothly netflix,hbo, its just this application which is laggy and full of pixels pls fix it somehow i beg you
The app is great, just really wish that there was a “Remove from Watchlist” button for the series that I looked into but don’t interest me. And PLEASE bring back the comments.
I never had problem with the app but since yesterday it wont open because of connectivity issues which is intresting considering that I use youtube, spotify, facebook, and all of them has great connection and speed. Try again in a moment, or check your internet connection! - it says. Well, I tried like 100 times and my connection is perfect, yet its still not working.
… if you live in the EU you will need to use a VPN with an American or Japanese region as most of the content are region locked and you can’t watch them otherwise. There’s still a lot of great content you can watch in the EU but when I pay for something I’d like to enjoy it’s full content without applying any tricks. Luckily the membership is not expensive and you can use the app in any of your devices so I think 3 stars is fair.

Unless it’s a cc you cannot display sub if the dub is of the same language. It would be great to enable this.
The Russian dub is almost non-existent, and when it is available, it is of poor quality. Fundub is far superior and should be used instead. There are numerous issues with subtitles, including disynchronization and inaccurate translations. The player is also unreliable, app has frequent difficulties downloading episodes and other problems. This is unacceptable. I don't understand what I'm paying for. You need to learn from fundub how to work.
