Glitches and Skips Constantly

It will constantly jump 10 seconds ahead 4-5 times throughout the episode making you miss things and rewind.

Especially after merging with Funimation, Crunchyroll has the biggest selection of Anime of all the streaming apps. I’ve tried competitor HiDive, but find myself coming back to Crunchyroll. At the same time, it needs two improvements regarding the user experience. <br> <br>Firstly, simply put, ***users who RELY on closed captioning in a translated language STILL NEED THE ONSCREEN TEXT TRANSLATED.*** As it stands now, this hard-of-hearing, English-only subscriber has to pause the show, switch from English [CC] to English. Once I read the translation for the on-screen text, I need to switch back to English [CC]. This wouldn’t be so terrible, except it throws off the CC timing and sometimes completely cuts off the audio. Restarting the app doesn’t seem to help the CC timing either. So then, I have to mark the episode as watched, restart the episode, and then scrub to the place where I left off. This is extremely cumbersome, to say the least. <br> <br>Secondly, please do not settle for auto-captioning. It may seem like a great way to cut costs, but it is NOT accurate enough, especially because auto-captioning doesn’t spell phonetically for unknown words. It makes its best guess for the most likely word or name in the language it’s doing the captions for. For example, one character’s Japanese name will be spelled countless different ways in English [CC] throughout a show. On top of that, auto-captioning doesn’t always attribute who is speaking. So, if scenery is being shown instead of the speaker and who is speaking changes, but sounds similar to the first speaker, it can be confusing. Basically, if I were fully deaf, I would have no idea what was happening. I simply wouldn’t be able to watch the show. In summary, please fix these two things: 1) Translate onscreen text for those using translated [CC] and 2) Ensure captioning accuracy with human oversight.

I hate the ads

They gave me 8 ads when I was watching Naruto shippuden and it made me super mad

Good app, But there’s too many ads and English not being free is annoying

English not being free on most anime’s and some anime’s you have to get premium to watch is insane,please just make English free and remove ads it’s insanity

Too many ad

I get the app is free but there is no reason there has to be 1 out of 7 ads for just one show I can’t even get through the intro without an add and sometimes the ads are just black screens like I can watch many shows on here but the bad part about this is literally the ads like no reason there should be that many.

The app and the anime selection is great, Love it! But good luck if you need any customer service you won’t reach anyone
