Bring the comment section back.

It doesn’t let you use the app if you don’t have the latest update and I can’t update my IPhone/IPad/etc. Because I don’t have enough space

Y’all removed comments, which is dumb!!! And Tower of God S2 E7 subtitles are wrong!! Y’all need to tighten up!!!!!!

I very much enjoy crunchyroll’s wide selection of anime. However, they recently got rid of their comments sections and review sections. I’m not hugely broken up about the reviews, but I do especially miss the comments sections. They made it seem like a real community of people, and I often spent significant amounts of time reading and responding to comments, and generally being impressed by the positive atmosphere. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I sincerely hope they bring back these features, because I consider them integral to the Crunchyroll experience, and value the ability to easily access second opinions about my favorite series and new series alike.

Bring back the comment section.

I actually looked at reviews to judge whether I wanted to watch something. I engaged in comments semi-regularly and it usually led to me enjoying a series more. I'll admit, a ton of comments were brainrot like farmers spamming "early gang" or "like if you *insert anything*." But alot of times comments were welcome. Another massive issue is subtitles coming late or simply being wrong. Season 2 Episode 7 of Tower of God has been hijacked (???) by someone using a chatbot called "Emily." I PAY for this service but after this I probably won't anymore. You guys drop the ball way too much with the watchlists (being unable to remove something or the mark as read function half working), how the seasons/episodes are grouped up, advertising new dubs of old episodes as NEW episodes, offering later seasons of an anime but not the first season. So much wrong with you guys now. I think I'm out.

I have been Crunchyroll Mega Fan account holder since 2022 and I am very disappointed with the company’s latest tactics. I have recently discovered that my account now runs ads every 3-4 minutes which approximately 7-8 ads during an anime episode. The more I watch anime the more ads are also being added. This literally occurred overnight since it was not running ads yesterday, August 8/17/24. I received a message stating to switch to premium which is $15.99 per month. This sudden change is unconscionable. It seems, from a consumer perspective, that the ads are purposely running so frequently to annoy customers enough to switch to premium membership so Crunchyroll can increase their revenue. It is looking like a money grab scheme. Furthermore, the quality of the service provided does not equate to the upgrade that is imposed on viewers since it frequently freezes. Making difficult to watch anime episodes at times. As a consumer, I am expecting a resolution to this issue as I am considering cancelling my subscription and moving on to another Anime streaming anime platform such as HiDive. I’d give a “0” rating but that is not an option.

Have the latest episode and animes. Easy to navigate app. Kids use it on their phones as well.

It’s really good but I kind download or loading on the app mostly kind of slow but it’s ok good
