Cs Music Pro FAQ
Is Cs Music Pro free?
Cs Music Pro is not free (it costs 2.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Cs Music Pro legit?
🤔 The Cs Music Pro app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
This app would be my full time music app of choice if it only had one more feature. Since most of the music I listen to is the most recent music I’ve acquired I simply cannot live without the “recently added” option that comes with the standard iPhone music app. Everything else about this app is better than the default iPhone app except that.
Not Well-Tested
Every time I open the app, it’s mostly blank. Some portions load eventually and some just don’t, but there’s no way to know as there’s zero indication if the app is loading anything or it just won’t show anything at all. Also, how does one get to look at the currently queued songs that will be played? Is this a missing feature? How can that be? I guess this app probably works OK for very small libraries with like 10 to 12 songs, but for hefty libraries with thousands of songs and hundreds of albums put together by serious music listeners, this app isn’t really useful. The sad thing is that it was working much better in iOS 15 and now on iOS 17 it’s much worse. I wouldn’t put it past Apple having messed up their music library API so much to make this app work worse but then why promise any functionality? Disappointing all around.
Perfect, except for one HUGE dealbreaker
EDIT: Ok really disappointed now. When I close out of the app when music is playing, it continues to play via the apple music app. If I stop the music before closing the app, lock my phone, then go to unlock it, I get the standard iOS music playing "popup" on my lock screen. Total dealbreaker though I guess my dumba** already bought it...
LOVE the customization options. Can tweak to my liking and hide/remove stuff I want/dont want. Allows for simplicity and modern features exactly where I want each which results in the BEST user interface among other music apps I have used/tried to use (Spotify, Apple Music, Doppler)
Fantastic app!
I absolutely love this app
Turned my phone into an IPod and now I can listen to the music I have on my computer on my phone without having to go through ITunes (Except for using it to put the tunes on the phone).
Also don’t have to pay the ITunes fee every month!
I full heartedly recommend this app and consider it one of the best bargains I have ever bought.
Can’t load songs
The songs don’t show up. Want my money back.
Music won’t sync
I have files that I imported to iTunes from my CD collection, but I can’t get them to sync with the app.
When I try to contact support via email I keep getting an “invalid recipient” response.
If I receive support on this issue and a resolution is reached I will update my rating, but until then it will remain at one star.
Support for MP3
Prior to purchasing this app, I read a review that it supported MP3 files. After loading it, none of the MP3 show up in the app, neither local files or cloud files. Is there an additional plugin that I need to be loading?
Fix please
This is a decent music app, but after a recent update of my phone, the app crashes constantly. It has become unusable at the moment. Waiting for a fix.
Loved Cs for years but
For whatever reason I no longer have the option of a Cs widget. Being able to rate tracks on the lock screen was the driver for using Cs over the iPod built in music app but now that is gone. What happened??
Widget Gone Missing
The Cesium widget on the Widget pane was one of the easiest ways to maintain star ratings on iOS but it seems to have gone missing. Love this app but that was my big use reason so I probably won’t use or recommend it anymore.
