Didn’t give me my money back
If your used to a modular mixer work flow then Cubasis 3 will disappoint you. If you route modular mixers output to a track you get pops and crackles and distortion. If you try to get your money back they will say your purchase is not eligible. I communicated with Steinberg support but their answer was: “look on the forums” and “it should work” and funny enough in their forum their answer was look in the manual. You cannot resample another track to bounce it. I know you can freeze it but that’s not the same thing. Editing is extremely tedious and frustrating in Cubasis 3 compared to other DAW’s on iOS. I wish I could have just gotten my money back but now I feel the need to warn people with a review.
Excellent DAW
I’m familiair with Cubase on pc and Mac and Cubasis is on the same level of quality. Lots of features and great sounds. I hope Steinberg will make some preset add on packs and I want also more Waves plug-ins. Recommended if your serious about music production!
Wat is er aan de hand met CUBASIS????
Korg Wave station laadt niet meer, CUBASIS loopt vast bij het laden van andere synthapp’s. Soms start het helemaal niet op!!! Het is niet meer werkbaar op deze manier!!! Ik ben anders een hele grote fan van het programma, ik gebruik het al vanaf de Atari en ken het als mijn broekzak. Al meer dan 35 jaar. Zoals CUBASIS nu is,, is het voor steinberg een blamage.

Now im using Cubasis and Cubase on all my devices, extremely convenient! Plug-ins are very good and audio quality of the end results is on point! Moreover, i was able to transfer all my purchases from Cubasis 2 to Cubasis 3, money well spent! Loving it!

Cubasis aangeschaft om snel wegwijs te raken in mijn Cubase software die ik op mijn pc heb staan. Dit werkt voor mij veel beter als dikke manuals doorploeteren of instructie videos kijken. Spelenderwijs leer je zo met Cubase werken en … Cubasis is sowieso een fantastisch programma!

Een zeer fijn muziek programma om mee te werken. Ik heb zowat alle bekende muziek software voor ios aangeschaft en cubasis is de enige waar ik maar bij terug blijf komen.

File destination
Hello, does anybody know how to change the file destination of Cubasis3. At this moment all files are stored LOCAL at my iPad. I want to change it so Cubasis3 stores all my files in the Cloud. How can i do this ?
Missing some features from version 2...
Rearranging effects and iPhone support are nice new features. But, why is Apple Pencil support removed in Cubasis 3? It was working fine in Cubasis 2... Using bluetooth audio (Sony WH-CH700N) sets the project sample rate to 16 kHz sounding awful... And there are many more new bugs and glitches...
