Cannot believe it’s free. No obtrusive ads at all, the only time you see one is to unlock a hint, nothing behind a paywall besides ad free hints. An incredible work of art with many small details to notice, and rare achievements and easter eggs that encourage you to go back and replay. First downloaded the app 2 years ago, just re-downloaded it because I wanted to experience it again!
Play this game if you like puzzles, and interesting lore and story and characters.
I’m something of puzzle game fan myself, and this game especially is quite the wild ride. Rusty Lake delivers a phenomenal experience within the Cube Escape games through the use of atmosphere , and intense creativity. The world of Rusty Lake is home to a very deep lore and mature yet impactful themes which contribute to a foreboding and distinct atmosphere; uniquely present within these stories. At the first part of the saga in the Cube “Seasons”, players may be led into a false sense of security; living in blissful unawareness of the importance of their actions. However, as they continue on in the story, the reality quickly sets in that not all is as it seems. A distinct air of uneasiness and uncertainty prevails over the course of events in these games. Occasionally culminating in horrifying sequences such as the timed battle in the Mill or Mr Rabbit’s party visit, although many smaller scares are not uncommon as well. The games also tackle with mature themes such as death, grief, loss, and murder, all professionally designed within the framework of a puzzle game. Be warned as this game may not be suited for those of a more squeamish disposition. Common are scenes featuring blood and gore. Violence and bloodshed remind the audience of their vulnerabilities, and further bolster the thrilling nature of the puzzle sequences. Additionally, Rusty Lake tells a wild, surreal mystery featuring unique characters, environments, and puzzles. I could easily tell you the solutions to the puzzles, and where to go and who to talk to in the game, but that does not do the narrative justice. The game neatly unfolds its lore and secrets unto the player through the many challenging puzzles and challenges assigned to them. Many unique characters and environments would not make sense to the player if they were not paying attention. As if the game itself is a puzzle waiting to be solved by the player. Witness the ants eye view mystery of “Harvey’s Box” and think outside the box! Or travel back in time and witness your last moments as a famous European painter in the level “Arles”. The video game manages to weave the story and lore within unique puzzles and is an interesting and engaging experience If you are a puzzle game fan, I would highly recommend. If you are wanting to try a puzzle game I would also highly recommend. Thank you to Rusty Lake for all of your hard work and effort. Your video games are spectacular.

absolutely love rusty lake
Everytime ive played one of their games, I havent been disappointed at all. Ive played the whole cube escape collection at least 3 times as well as samsara room. Its challenging enough to keep you interested, but not too challenging to where you get stressed and delete the game. I absolutely love vincent van gogh as well, i have his paintings all over my house, and I love that he had his own cube escape and the detail that went into it such as his ear. I’m truly excited to see what comes from rusty lake in the future!!!
Such A Well Designed Game
This is such a well designed game! From the clever puzzles and eery story line to the unique and captivating art style. I am never bored, and even though I may be guilty of look up some of the puzzles to get through, even then it’s still my cure for boredom. And it makes your brain sharper, unlike doom scrolling.

The game is really fun and challenging but the challenges are really hard
