Recent software updates have made this product worse. Specifically, the white noise which we rely on every night now fades in and out every 15 seconds when looped which is extremely distracting to our toddler and means we’ve had to replace it with another product. Contacted support but they confirmed you’re unable to undo software updates. Unsure why they changes something that worked perfectly fine or who thought fading the sounds in and out was a good idea.
Have had cubo for 4 months now and have been extremely disappointed. It’s not reliable. It constantly drops out and is behind when on live. Constantly have issues with the app. We ve checked our internet and it is fine, so it’s a software issue. Save your money and buy another brand.
I would leave zero stars if I could. The product itself is flakey but the apps and integrations frequently break. Technical support only exists to frustrate you and waste time until you give up. Do not buy this it’s awful.
I never write reviews but had to for this. The app is atrocious. It takes multiple times for it to actually load properly and multiple times to go on and off it again. It’s so frustrating especially when you need to check on baby quickly and put music/sounds on. Almost made me give up and get a complete new monitor.
This app is the worst app ever for tracking baby, every time going to the app to check, it just keeps loading or saying error to reload.
App constantly disconnects from WiFi. When disconnected doesn’t record anything. You will need to force close the app 3 to 5 times every time you want to check in on baby. AI functionality is terrible, misses crying, if baby has pacifier in it won’t recognize baby in crib. All round terrible product and app
I have been trying to use my Cubo over the past 2.5 years and have continual issues. I was hopeful and still got a second camera when my daughter came along but it has only gotten worse. We have excellent internet and that seems to be the sole focus of the support team. No- it’s NOT me, it’s you. The recent update has made the interface aesthetically appealing but has not fixed the camera’s actual ability to function as a way to safely monitor our children. My son, tonight, was injured trying to get out of his bed when his monitor wasn’t working. Unacceptable.
Anyone else experiencing issues after the update they’ve done to the app. Can’t seem to get any pictures on any of our devices. Just loading of the camera and nothing.
New updated app has stopped the ability to play music through the monitor for my child
This is by far the best baby monitor, in terms of video quality, measures temperature/ humidity, play back, record and take pictures, crying notifications and coughing notifications (doesn’t send you notifications baby is crying but really it was loud external noise like a loud car). All the things you need without having to pay a subscription for extra features. And last but not least their tech support service is the best!
