## Cuddeback Description
Cuddeback app is for viewing and managing Cuddeback LTE trail cameras. For use with CuddeLink and Tracks cameras. Allows photo viewing, changing camera settings, checking camera status, managing your Cuddeback account, activating and deactivating LTE data plans, help tools, and more. Cuddeback app is optimized for all Tracks cameras and CuddeLink cameras using GEN3 firmware.

### **--- "App needs some work"
First thing I want to say is Cuddeback has a great thing going with the Cuddelink.  BUT I have had nothing but problems with using the app and cellular side.  The app is not easy to use and you can tell that they did not put much effort into it.  I really hope they fix it or I will have to go to a different manufacturer.

### *---- "NOT DURING HUNTING SEASON"
I own two Cuddeback cameras, one being a tracks and both run all year off the Cuddeback solar chargers and I love that. I jumped in with the tracks camera two annual subscription’s ago and fast approaching a third. 

Camera’s ( I have 2)
 If set up properly they take very good pictures. I have a deer pic w/ deer 6’ off of the ground at full stride clear as a full moon and I love that. 
 Now what I don’t like, no video, no sound or temp on pics.

Solar charger’s
I have two Sun and shade chargers running for two plus yrs w/o any issues, just snow removal and inspection, I love that.

Cuddeback’s CAMP App
 NEVER update an app during hunting seasons, hire hunters who can code whilst understanding when to push updates. In 2024 it’s been updated 4 times and progressively loosing functions. Two annual subscriptions ago I had text alerts, no more. I had app alerts w/o sound, no more. I’m left with email alerts only fetching my phones battery too death. I had finally trends working until the latest update, no more. 

Cuddeback makes very good cameras, the app needs to be focused on or Cuddeback is going to be left behind in sales because of it. Why would I buy your product if I can’t get timely notifications, that’s the point.

Cameras and the link system are top notch. The app is not user friendly. I think the Nov 24 update broke some features. The pictures aren’t in chronological order. There are misspelled words like “Extermal”. I do not get any notifications from the app, just emails of new photos. No acknowledgment of changes when you make them in the app. I can tell the cam to take a pic, but you don’t know if it will happen until you get an email with the pic.

Was pretty happy before the update now I’m not . Refresh doesn’t work. Don’t think my cameras are working as well as before. Was in the stand watching deer by a camera and not a picture. Come on guys time to take it to the next level

Pretty bad when a cheaper camera you can go on the app and make camera take a picture without having to wait for it to link up before it takes the picture would make it easier the make sure cameras working without having to go in the feild to check them

### *---- "The new update made things worse!"
While the app has always been clunky, it’s worked fine. The new update makes viewing the reports difficult to see and you cannot see all camera details. Reviewing photos and saving or deleting them is much slower now also. You’ve also reduced the benefit of getting texts but kept the same price or gone up. It’s also freezing on photos when you try to delete them. Time to hire a developer to focus on your app if that’s the only way to view photos. I’m about to sell my system and so are many of the friends I recommended buying your mesh system over the years unless you fix things.

The app has no special features like other cameras.  It does not work correct. When you want to change a camera there is no apply button so you don’t know if it works.  I loved my regular non cell cudde back but these are just awful.  Slow trigger speeds, takes forever to get picture, just terrible to use all around.  I really hope they send ability to trade in for the money it takes to buy these cameras.  I do not recommend to buy these cell cameras at all.

Lots of promises, but the app just does not fulfill those promises. Setup is cumbersome. Cases are NOT (3 cameras so far), waterproof! Image quality is poor with little line-definition (fuzzy details where an image changes). Cellular is Slow, slow, slow and sometimes even slower!

If I hadn’t invested in 9 cameras and all the accessories I’d switch in a heartbeat!

Think before you buy this brand!

Latest update broke the refresh button.. when I apply filters to organize the display of photos from different cameras they never apply.. it doesn’t notify you when a picture is taken. And the app is overall difficult to navigate, all while the picture quality isn’t any better than any other top 5 brand cameras
