Running on a 2022 11” iPad Pro, CueMix 5 is largely functional, and I’m grateful that it exists as I’m using the Ultralite for mobile recording with just the iPad and Logic Pro. There are, however, two things that are a fairly annoying. 1. I almost always need to close and re-open the app multiple times each time I run CueMix, otherwise I just get the ‘Waiting for device to connect. Check power and cables…’ message forever. 2. I really wish that the iOS version had the ability to save and load configuration files. As it is now, I need to connect the device to my Mac before and after a session to do this.

This product work when I got it.

Since update CueMix 5 it has been asking me to update firmware on my ultralitemk5 device and can I? Well I looked at at least one YouTube video showing how and well it was for CueMix 1.1.5 which had a menu allowing you to update the firmware. That would be nice because on my CueMix 5 all I get is a screen shows CueMix 5 trade mark, a message saying i need to update firmware and a IP-address link that shows me the IP-address the CueMix 5 is using to connect to my device, and that it no menu that give me an option to update firmware like in the youtube video for CueMix 5 1.1.5 am I going to speed a lot of money buying PC or MAC just to update the firmware when i should be able to use my iPad Pro. It would just save money to buy a different audio inputs device that works which this one did 5 month ago. Or be do something smart like give us the ability to download the legacy drives I don’t I know like 1.1.5 so I can update the FIRMWARE!!! THAN UPDATE CUEMIX 5.

Update: works with new firmware

The newest firmware doesn’t work with he latest version of CueMix, so now I can’t actually do anything without a computer. Update: After toying with it a bit, it seems I had to open CueMix, then close it and re-open it in order to recognize my device. Once I did that, everything worked fine.
