## Cumberland Council UK Reviews in United Kingdom

### **--- "Needs an update"
Was working well, however now everytime you try and report for example over flowing bin the app crashes when attaching a picture.
-- Eddiehig, 2024-12-14

### *---- "Is complaints glitch deliberate?"
Generally I really don’t find the app functionality very good, hard to navigate around. And shouldn’t the main telephone contact nos be prominently displayed?
Main issue is that the Compliments & Complaints tab just leads you onto a blank screen with no way of inputting data - just think of all the compliments you’re missing out on!
-- Solwaymotorhomer, 2024-08-16

### **--- "Bin collection"
What l think should be done
When l check my bin collection eg every time l have to put in my address including post code and house number.
I have to repeat each time why can’t l get the app to remember my details so as I don’t have to go through the same scenario each time.
Can you advise.
Thanks Mike
-- Mikets T, 2023-09-21

### *---- "Appalling"
This app is almost as bad as the council itself!
-- underwhelmedbyit, 2022-01-31

### *---- "Hi"
Bin days and dates for beginning of April incorrect
-- toggytop, 2021-04-04

### **--- "Bin collection"
I do not know, but suspect, that one of the most common usages of the app is to check which bins are due for collection each week - for example, I am 72 and have never had occasion to ‘Report a dead animal’, as appears on the opening screen.
You have to go through four screens on an iPhone to get to bin collection!
Each week, I have to type in my own postcode. There is no default/favourite postcode. How often do I need to check on the bin collection elsewhere?
Having entered the postcode, it then asks for my address. I scroll down, find the correct address, release the scroll and the screen returns to the top of the screen, obscuring my address. To find the information, I have to check on a neighbours address with a lower street number.
-- &ps48, 2020-11-16

### **--- "Contact and waste"
Not enough contact on email and response. No information on green waste collection at all(very poor)
-- race against the rabbit, 2020-06-09

### *---- "Unusable"
The app display puts information off the screen, and doesn’t allow scrolling or zooming. So you can’t actually do what you want to do.
-- MickyP85, 2019-10-28

### ***-- "Great idea but I hope the council didn't spend a lot on it..."
Some nice features, but this is basically a collection of web links and an in-app browser which isn't as good as Chrome or Safari. I hope the council didn't get fleeced by the app developer for this. But, good start :-)

### ***** "Great App!"
So much information included and very easy to use!! A great app for Allerdale and makes life a lot easier! Thank you
