I was on three different migraine preventatives, as well as taking triptans 8-10 times a month. The Curable app was somewhat helpful to me, but the real game changer was the Curable group that I signed up for. This is a 12 week group led by a therapist. Through this group, I identified issues that I needed to address that were connected to my pain. As I did this, I experienced fewer and fewer migraines. With the supervision of my doctor I was able to taper off all my migraine preventatives. I rarely have a migraine now, and I feel like I have a new life. I am able to plan and enjoy so many activities, including being an involved, playful grandmother. I originally started Curable in June 2020 when I was struggling with chronic migraines that had me on disability from work and in pain 24/7. I had been seeing doctors and trying medications and treatments and nothing was working.
