CurbSmart is the easy-to-use app that instantly synchronizes pick-up lane arrivals, allowing school administrators inside and outside to coordinate the organized release of students. 
 
With CurbSmart, school administrators can
  - Quickly enter placard numbers of arriving parents
  - View approved pickups, address, and vehicle information right from the app
  - View the list of students available to release
  - Release students to their parents
  - Access a summary of the students who have been released

Curbsmart has changed the old fashioned way if dismissal at our school. We called names of students on a walkie talkie each day and often got cut off by others speaking at the same time. 
Curbsmart has made our dismissal process seamless, innovative, more private, and affords us the ease that comes with the use of technology. Our teachers love it, the parents love it, and the students are safely called to our car pick up area accounting for each student going home each day. To the makers of Curbsmart….Kudos!

We looked at many other solutions before deciding on CurbSmart for our after-school dismissal.  The choice was easy, very customizable for our specific campus, cost, every scenario thought of, and outstanding communications and support from the CurbSmart staff.  This solution has made our after-school dismissal a breeze, more efficient, easy to use, reliable, and more accountability & student safety. Dismissal process has been so much easier with CurbSmart.  We are a large district and have had no issues with lag or speed with this product but did with a previous product.  CurbSmart is a fantastic app, has speed up our release time, helps with after school care as well!

This app is terrible for dismissal options even after their latest update.  We have been suffering with this app for over a year now.  Constant freezing, crashing and having to restart in the middle of dismissal. When using the app it’s interface is not responsive when trying to input numbers using an iPhone 11.  Never have issues with phone using any other app as far as simply inputting numbers into the system.  There are 2 of us that swap duties using our own phone and we both experience the same issues.  We will have to look at other options next year as they can’t handle a larger volume school.

We had several issues with CurbSmart during dismissal. We have been using it for over 1 year. We had issues like the server being down to lagging input or the app not working at all. It’s far from perfect and it would be nice to have a backup server in place as a start. I would not depend on it. I wouldn’t mind the issues if it was for free. But charging customers for a beta software is unprofessional and unacceptable. Very disappointing.
