Whether you're part of a Council-supported program or a Curby Rewards subscriber, Curby makes it easy to make a real impact from the comfort of your home.

How does it work? It’s as easy as 1–2–3–4!

1. Sign Up
Join Curby Rewards through the app. Once you're subscribed, you'll receive a pack of CurbyBags in the mail —the number of bags you receive depends on your Eco Tier. The higher your tier, the more bags you receive!

2. Collect
Fill your CurbyBag with accepted soft plastics like bread bags, chip packets, cereal liners, and more. Once full, tie the handles in a knot.

3. Scan & Earn
Each CurbyBag has an embedded QR code on the bag; simply scan it using the app to link it to your account. If you're a subscriber, every scanned bag = entries into monthly and annual prize draws.

4. Recycle It
Pop your scanned bag into your yellow lid bin (if approved by your council) or drop it off at a participating location.

Since the app upgrade there are a lot of glitches. Clicking on one area and it makes another action occur. For example, trying to increase my order amount of tags and it opens up the QR scanner and asks me to allow access to my camera. Needs more testing and updating of the software please

I loved the actual service overall, but as with other reviews I agree that it is frustrating to have to click through the how-to details every time you want to scan. 
However since their last major update I haven’t been able to log in on the app at all, which was a while ago now. It was a bit of a fuss to set everything back up (on my laptop) after the update and losing the ability to use my phone has essentially killed the service for me, especially since they don’t seem to do curbside pickup from my new home and I have to take each lot into a local affiliated collection centre.

This previously worked easily. But now since the new system, it will not accept previously registered email addresses and can’t re- register. 
It seems to be trying to prevent us from recycling not encouraging it!!

Don’t bother. No more curbside pickup. Am I going to bother to scan anything if I have to drop it off at Woolworths anyway? What a con. These people have been promising an improved app for years and now there’s nothing.

I have rerated this app down as NONE of the issues raised OVER AND OVER AGAIN have been addressed. I am not a new user. Give me an express scanning option. Why have a support “option” when no one EVER answers queries. And I’m sick of the childish graphics. Who do you think ensures soft plastics are binned correctly? No children in my household. All the stuff below still applies. This is a very clunky app. If I weren’t committed to trying to keep soft plastic out of my rubbish I wouldn’t use it. There’s a question facility in the app but no one bothers to answer questions so it’s pointless. Every time you use it you have to work through pages of information and instructions even if you have been using the app for ages. There’s a pointless point system not related to anything and the app can suddenly make you reregister even if you are an established user. Wish they would introduce an express scanning system. If they did I could put up with the other pointless bits.
