## Curry Pinger Pro Description
Curry Pinger Pro is a site-visit toolkit for network engineers and consultants. Discover the network you are standing in, test it, record where the equipment is, and share a report before you leave.

Everything is measured from your phone and saved on your phone. There is no account, no cloud service and no advertising.

SITES AND VISITS
• Keep a list of the sites you look after. The app recognises a site's network when you return.
• Start a visit and discover every device that answers on the network, in a few seconds.
• Each visit is saved. Compare any two visits to see devices that appeared or stopped answering, ports that changed state or speed, rising error counters, reboots and changes in optical levels.
• Trend charts show how a site moves from visit to visit.

DIAGRAMS
• Network map with the gateway, the upstream hops and every device, with new devices highlighted.
• Port map of a switch or router, drawn from an SNMP read: link state, speed, errors and what changed since the last visit.
• Places: record where equipment really is, from a cabinet drawn unit by unit to "under the admin desk", with how to find it and what the risks are.
• Radio link profile with free-space loss, 60 GHz oxygen absorption and Fresnel clearance.
• Fibre span loss budget, event by event, against the level you measure.

TOOLS
• Curry ping: sends the next ping the instant the last one is answered, with packet size and don't-fragment control, loss, median, 95th percentile and jitter.
• Trace: hop-by-hop path with loss and reply time at every hop, and a plain-language verdict.
• Path MTU: finds the largest packet that crosses the path unfragmented.
• Port scan: common TCP services on a device, including Winbox and the RouterOS API.
• SNMP v2c: system details, every interface, and optical levels on MikroTik devices.
• DNS: A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME, SOA and PTR lookups against the server you choose.
• Subnet calculator.
• Recent targets are remembered, so you don't retype addresses.

SECURITY HEALTH CHECK
• Grade a network you look after from A to F, with a score out of 100.
• Flags clear-text logins such as Telnet and FTP, remote access and databases reachable on the LAN, router APIs without encryption, web admin pages without HTTPS, SNMP left on its factory community, and devices that are new since the last visit.
• Each issue comes with the fix, and the grade is tracked from visit to visit.
• Runs only on the network your phone is connected to, after you confirm you are authorised to test it. It never tries passwords.

REPORTS
• One tap builds an A4 PDF site visit report: findings ranked by urgency, changes since the last visit, the network diagram, device tables, port detail, test results with charts, trends, places, radio links and fibre spans.
• Add your name, company and client, and choose the sections to include.
• Also shares as plain text, or as a CSV device list.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Site data is stored in a file that iOS keeps encrypted while the phone is locked.
• SNMP community strings are kept in the Keychain on this device only.
• The app talks only to the devices and addresses you test. Nothing is sent to us.
• Erase everything from the About screen at any time.

Curry Pinger has been on the App Store since 2011. Version 3 is a complete rebuild.
