This unique combination of timestamping, live photo with auto location can be fairly relied upon by election machinery to navigate to the right spot and take prompt action. The GIS-based dashboard provides strong decision tool to drop and dispose of frivolous and unrelated cases even before they are acted upon, thereby reducing the workload of election machinery on ghost complaints. Presently there is a lack of fast information channel to transmit and track complaints on MCC violations. Delay in reporting of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) violations has often resulted in the culprits escaping detection from the flying squads of election commission entrusted to ensure enforcement of Model Code of Conduct. Further, lack of any documented, untampered, evidence in the form of pictures or videos was a major hurdle in establishing the veracity of a complaint ex-post facto. The Commission’s experience has also shown a significant percentage of reporting was false or inaccurate, which led to wastage of precious time of Field Units. The new cVIGIL app launched by Election Commission of India is expected to fill in all these gaps and create a fast-track complaint reception and redressal system. ‘cVIGIL’ stands for Vigilant Citizen and emphasizes the proactive and responsible role citizens can play in the conduct of free and fair elections. Citizens are, encouraged to use the ECI main website for lodging the other type of complaints or call the National Contact Centre at 1800111950 or State Contact Centre at 1950 for other complaints. ## cVIGIL Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/6f/ec/38/6fec3812-6921-6a91-598f-dbf102cbbaf5/9344d351-55cb-4fe7-b158-d0a89f4f73c6_IMG_0189.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c3/1f/29/c31f2985-1799-69ee-c89f-f3e49fa2ff09/fef5d2c7-0b9b-47c5-b9ca-2f6be7f6f55f_IMG_0190.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/58/bc/36/58bc3659-b4ce-1502-3483-fc7fba9dcef1/8a6658f2-ff3a-4be8-adde-8bcffc181da4_IMG_0185.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/74/9e/4c/749e4c72-8dfa-b9c6-d9a0-256af1078afe/dd2ea32b-c6f8-456b-b7af-6c5430f463c9_IMG_0186.PNG/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/9a/7b/f3/9a7bf357-8a3a-fb67-9075-4f0239263fc5/6c58ac1e-cca7-4647-8886-69e54bd723e8_IMG_0187.PNG/1242x2688.png) ## cVIGIL Rating Breakdown in India - 5 stars: 27 (17%) - 4 stars: 4 (3%) - 3 stars: 3 (2%) - 2 stars: 6 (4%) - 1 stars: 118 (75%) ## cVIGIL Reviews in India ### *---- "Not working on ios" Worst -- Prabhuji ka Bhakt, 2024-11-16 ### *---- "Crashing?" Why is the app crashing ? Is the government this incapable of even making a normal working mobile app? Absolute lack of professionalism -- Rahil, 2024-11-05 ### *---- "Not working" When trying to open camera, it doesn’t open & screen goes blank. Not useful -- Sandy537, 2024-10-26 ### *---- "App crash on tap on photo title" App crash on tap on photo title -- Manjit1111, 2024-09-26 ### *---- "Doesn’t even let you register." Stuck at the verify OTP stage. It doesn’t regard its own OTP’s as valid OTP’s, so one cannot log in at all. Total waste. Tried for over 4 days multiple times. Even swapped sims to try logging in with a new number, nothing worked. -- Kaizer0215, 2024-05-28 ### *---- "Waste" Why are you making apps to fool the citizens. Its not even working. Registration is not working. Waste -- Hdjsmkan, 2024-05-24 ### *---- "Does not work" App keeps crashing on clicking Photo, Video or Audio button to raise complaint. Totally unusable app. Please fix urgently. -- dexterouslibran, 2024-05-22 ### *---- "No access of mobile in polling centre" If mobiles were not to be allowed to be carried then why this app developed. The purpose is not served. What if there are instances of wrong doing at the polling centre. You will not have the opportunity to capture the instance and report as I’ve to keep the mobiles in our home to do our voting. It’s simply a waste of money in creating the app. -- Arvind 29, 2024-05-20 ### *---- "While logging in error - please enter valid Otp" While logging in, error shown - please enter valid otp. This is very serious problem with the app, you need to rectify. Looks like deployment done without unit testing! Developer jokingly developed this app, is it? -- amol s, 2024-05-14 ### *---- "OTP validation not working" Everytime its saying to enter a valid OTP. Unable to login -- raguramvasanthavada, 2024-05-13 [View all cVIGIL reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## cVIGIL Discovered Keywords - cvigil ## Apps Similar to cVIGIL - [Powerplay- Manage projects](https://apptail.io/app/powerplay-manage-projects-yfRb/india) - [TGSPDCL](https://apptail.io/app/tgspdcl-rEhc/india) - [(Old) BSNL Selfcare](https://apptail.io/app/old-bsnl-selfcare-sEhc/india) - [Punjab mSewa](https://apptail.io/app/punjab-msewa-CYbd/india) - [Godrej Aer Smart Matic](https://apptail.io/app/godrej-aer-smart-matic-Gcyd/india) - [UMANG](https://apptail.io/app/umang-EzXd/india) - [My FASTag](https://apptail.io/app/my-fastag-KzXd/india) - [BIJLI MITRA](https://apptail.io/app/bijli-mitra-ovxe/india) - [Cam Scan for PDF & Doc Scanner](https://apptail.io/app/cam-scan-for-pdf-doc-scanner-BgZk/india) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
