After your moving day, download the new cwb.digital app, your new home for managing your finances anytime, anywhere.

By downloading Canadian Western Bank's new full-featured mobile banking app, you consent to install the app and any future updates or upgrades. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting or uninstalling the app from your device.

When you install the app, it will ask for permission to access the following functions of your device:
Location services – allows the app to use your device's GPS to find the nearest branch or ATM
Camera – allows the app to use your device's camera to take pictures of cheques.

Very sad this app. Why does it not appear full screen.  It’s harder to navigate than previous and you can’t get an overview of you full account without a lot of scrolling.  Definate fail. Not convenient format. Who thinks this #%$ up.  Difficult to pay accounts as it’s always hiding some info.  Definately not as good as previous.

This may well be the worst banking app in the entire country. It doesn’t integrate with other banking systems, rarely opens properly, and is completely unstable. Absolute garbage

I’m at a loss in trying to understand why CWB would go to this app, which is infinitely inferior to their previous app.  It was bad enough to have to re-enter all the e-transfer recipients in corporate accounts, but there are no function buttons on the app that allow you to connect out of a screen to another function, rather you have to back through all the screens you just completed (in my case through multiple recipient setup pages). Online functionality is critical to my business and I am so aggravated with this app that I’m not sure my level of tolerance for dealing with this.  CWB, I am hoping you are working on a communication with your clients. This is unacceptable.

### *---- "HIRE NEW PROGRAMMERS!"
Constantly freezes, have to continually log out and back in, get a new text message code only to freeze up again & repeat the process in hopes of gwtting in or delete the app out right and reinstall. Multiple issues navigating to other options (view transactions, bill payments, etc.). E-transfer set up is time consuming and you cant view the password answers so you have to continually set up a new password Q&A which again is time consuming or freezes up. Also E-transfers get hung up, sometimes over 2 hours. Online customer service is futile as they just get you to delete & reinstall the app or you have to go into the bank to get it set uo because after 3 attemps you get locked out of your account & the bank is only open till 4 and closed weekends.

I’d rate this app lower if I could. App often won’t load after using FaceID and needs to be closed and reopened. Accounts only show in the e-transfer list about half the time. Never mind the terrible service where tap on the card often doesn’t work, card can’t be added to Apple wallet, and email addresses on their website returning “only accepts messages from people in its organization or on its allowed senders list”. Truly Canada’s worst bank.

The old app worked but customers were forced to switch to the new app. It doesn’t work and has been under maintenance for weeks.

The old app worked much better. This app is constantly telling me my password is incorrect, locking my account then when I get it unlocked the same password I was using magically works now. Always glitching or not loading the screen. We’re changing banks and one reason is because of the app.

I have been using this APP since it came out and have nothing but trouble with it!! Just about every time I log in it gives me grief. Surely they can build a banking APP that works properly. I am considering going with another bank just because I am sick of the issues. iPhone 12 mini .
