The idea behind this application is that it will help you track and manage your Vitamin D.
This new version integrates with the Apple Health app to make seamless data exchange possible in the following ways:
* on setup, profile information is fetched from the Health App if the user allows it
* the user's weight (a factor in D generation) is fetched on an ongoing basis, making it unnecessary to update it
* the app will write vitamin D doses, including session information into the Health app
You setup basic information one time, like your height and weight and skin type and then any time you are outside, during the prescribed hours (and parts of the year), you can have it compute the amount of D you are getting in a stopwatch interface. It will also track how long you can stay out and warn you when the time is up.
The application will notify you with the next opportunity to generate vitamin D.
Each day, you can see forecasts based on your location, and you can also see the solar position, your generated vitamin D vs. target etc.
In the Pro version, you can see your exposures' history and you will be able to schedule future events for next exposures.

I use this app daily to track and manage Vit D
I started using this app 2 years ago to track and manage sun exposure. I have my vitamin D levels checked quarterly. This app has made all the difference in helping me increase my Vitamin D levels to a healthy range— something I was not able to do in 10+ years with oral Vit D supplementation.
Good but could use some simple improvements
When in a sun session, you’re unable to navigate the app. Not all of the tutorials work so I’m still not entirely sure if I’m using the app correctly. When taking a high dose vit d supplement weekly, it’s unclear how to input the information so it is adequately accounted for in your goal. During a sun session, the “stop” button also functions as a “pause” but that is unclear unless you click “stop.” A yellow or orange button should be added for “pause.” Once paused, the red button is “resume” and the green button is “finish,” which is counter intuitive. Red should be for “finish” and “resume” should be yellow or orange. I think there’s more to report on but I’m in the middle of a sun session and can’t navigate the app 😅
D levels going up
This app has been supporting me with prioritizing vitamin d from sunlight and increasing my blood levels of Vitamin D and overall mitochondrial health. Very thankful for creating tools that support us in prioritizing healthy habits. It’s encouraging to know the UV index at different hours in the day & this motivates me go out and get sun on rainy days as well. Regular sunshine has been improving my mood so much. This is currently my favorite app 🙏🏿✨
Doesn’t work on Apple Watch ultra2
When you click on the Apple Watch app you get an “upgrade now” message despite having purchased the app.
Pure Garbage
I changed the amount of supplementation, testing what differing levels of supplements would do to affect the assessment the application was providing me. All entered amount resulted in a determination that I was vitamin D deficient. I suspect the only goal of this application is to get your physical data and its relationship to your name, etc. uninstalling app now.
Great but any Time in Daylight support?
Just wondering if this app supports time in daylight reporting into the Health app? Can’t seem to find it.
Apple give these devs some more money so they can help the app design interface.
Piece of crap app
Difficult to use
Wrong Altitude
I’m at 5500 feet but it keeps changing it to 36 feet. Hard to say how accurately its calculations are given that kind of error.
Used to be great
Are used to love this app but recently for whatever reason it just seems like the information is wrong. Every single day it’ll say that it’s estimated 30 minutes to get the amount of vitamin D that I want and then after 30 minutes I look at it and it’s 50% that or 75% of that it just doesn’t seem to have proper algorithms or mask going on. I understand this can probably be complex but it’s estimates used to be spot on. I’m not sure if they changed.
Ehhhh
Every time I open this app, it changes my weight and height which throws off my vitamin D level so I have to constantly change it back.
