# Über die App
d20 Party Checks ist eine App für Spielleiter\*innen (SL) von Fantasy Rollenspielen die auf dem d20-System basieren wie beispielsweise Pathfinder oder Dungeons & Dragons. Sie hat das Ziel, es dem\*r SL binnen weniger Sekunden zu ermöglichen, einen geheimen Wurf für die gesamte Spielergruppe auszuführen. Insbesondere Wahrnehmungswürfe, Wissenswürfe, Schätzwürfe usw. können je nach Spielstil des\*r SL gemacht werden, um den Spieler oder die Spielerin nicht mit unnötigem Meta-Wissen zu belasten oder das Spiel zu verderben. Zu oft leidet in diesen Situationen jedoch der Erzählfluss – gegebenenfalls auch die Immersion – oder es wird schon durch die Frage „Wie hoch ist der Wahrnehmungs-Bonus deines Charakters?“ zu viel verraten. Die meisten Spielleiter\*innen haben einen Zettel vor sich, auf dem sie alle wichtigen Fertigkeits-, Attributs- und Rettungswürfe der Spielercharaktere aufgeschrieben haben und können den Wurf schnell ausführen. Kommt es jedoch zu einem Wurf für die gesamte Gruppe ist schnelles Würfeln und Vergleichen für jeden Spielercharakter gefragt.
