## Daf Hachaim Description
Daf HaChaim
Learn, Master & Remember

Daf HaChaim is a revolution in Talmud study that makes learning easier, clearer, and more accessible than ever before.

Daf Hachaim works in 3 steps:

First, the learner is offered a brief Intro to the Daf by an on-screen Magid Shiur using animated charts and graphics that make the concepts exceptionally clear.

Then the learner sees a perfectly clear daf from the beautiful Oz Vehadar Shas and the Magid Shiur teaches the Daf itself.

Afterwards, the learner is offered a Review: The Magid Shiur appears using animated flowcharts & graphics to present a review and summary of the Daf.

You'll learn, master, and remember as never before!

Features

· A video of a talented Magid Shiur presenting an Overview of each Daf, a full Daf Shiur, and a Review of each Daf.
· Richly Animated graphics illustrating and explaining the flow of each Daf.
· The complete Oz Vehadar Shas (in multiple close-up views for maximum ease in learning).
· Highlighting or Underlining the Gemara text in a choice of colors, in-synch with the Magid Shiur.
· A choice of Pointers that move in-synch with the Magid Shiur.
· Bookmarking: Save places on the Daf of special interest to you.
· Complete Start/Stop/Pause Control: Have the Magid Shiur wait for you during interruptions or return and repeat sections of the Overview, Shiur, and Review.
· Free Navigation allows the Learner to go directly to the Daf Shiur or view a series of Reviews for chazorah as he wishes.
· Downloads: In either video or audio allow the use of Daf Hachaim without an Internet connection.

## Daf Hachaim Reviews in United States

### ***** "Yasher koach!"
Today’s daf, Bava Basra כא, explains that the yeshiva system began out of necessity, because children without fathers needed to learn Torah.

I grew up without a father and without any exposure to Torah values. Now, at the age of nearly forty, I am learning Torah every day. Daf HaChaim presents a visual system of learning that is far more interactive than any other automated system I’ve encountered. Next to an actual chavrusa, this is the best way to learn Shas. Yasher koach!

The app, like every app, has technical issues to address. The interface is quite beautiful and functional, but yesterday’s daf had the wrong image linked to the audio. Aside from that, it functions well!
-- S.1.2.3.4, 2024-07-16

### ***** "Done Right"
BH from the many Daf Yomi apps I tried, this the best from top to bottom.
Clean layout, easy to navigate.
Let’s you know where you are holding without needing you to save and put it in favorites…..
In short, it’s an app that Yidden can learn from (I referring both the Gemora and Lehavdil technology of it).

Thank you very much!!
-- S.P.T.T.R., 2022-11-08

### ***** "Great app very helpful introduction and summery"
Great app. Otherwise once you get the Daf you want playing, it’s amazing The rabbi is clear and detailed. He explains very well, the daf is a nice print... Great app. have learnt many blat here. So helpfull! Thanks for creating it!
-- Mmyyfcb, 2022-01-11

### ***** "Best Daf yomi"
Love this app! Great for beginners!
-- Mahyar kash, 2021-07-30

### ***** "Yechiel r"
A great app never had a problem with crashing runs very smoothly and amazing audio helped me a lot!!
-- yechiel m r, 2021-02-12

### ***-- "Great Learning/Missing some functionality"
Love the daily Daf in this app. Was using the web version from my laptop without issue. Recently started using on my iPad and sadly, I cannot access the intro or review videos which I have found to be very helpful.

The Daf Shiur plays just fine though sometimes i wish I could speed it up to 1.25 or 1.5 speed. Also, if I swipe or try to relocate the speakers image it sometimes seems to float behind the text. I can still move and resize the speaker image but Rabbi S looks like a ghost behind the text.
-- Matisyahu303, 2020-04-30

### ***-- "Crashing - FIXED"
The app crashes every time i try opening it on a 6th gen iPad using iOS 13.2.

UPDATE: I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Now it runs. Will try it out for the first time.

UPDATE 2: The main video works, but the intro and recap videos don’t want to load. Also, a skip button (+10 seconds, -10 seconds) might be helpful.
-- EAE123, 2020-01-09

### *---- "Great app, but no audio"
This app is really very helpful and convenient for learning on the iPad. Up until a few weeks ago, this was the best daf yomi app of all the apps for iPad. Unfortunately, the audio no longer plays on the iPad, for any masechta, regardless of whether I download the daf or not. I would give this a 5 star rating if not for the audio issue.
-- Yisroel k, 2017-08-18

### ***** "What a pleasure 👍"
Awesome work in this! So clear, I can't skip a day without it
Thank you
-- Isaac1315, 2016-11-10

### ***** "Fantastic"
Great in a crunch
