## DAF Pro Description
DAF Pro helps people who stammer and people with Parkinson's slow down and speak more fluently. Put on headphones, speak, and hear your own voice a fraction of a second later.

How It Works
Delayed auditory feedback (DAF) is a clinically recognised speech therapy technique. Hearing your voice on a short delay naturally slows your speaking rate, which can make speech smoother and clearer. Research suggests DAF helps around 1 in 3 people who stammer, and it is also used to help people with Parkinson's control their speaking rate.

Who It's For
* People who stammer or stutter
* People with Parkinson's disease
* People with dysarthria
* People who clutter
* Speech and language therapists, for therapy sessions and home practice

Features
* Adjustable delay and pitch shift
* Very low latency, so short delays stay short
* Keeps working in the background and with the screen off
* Record and play back your speech
* Works with wired and Bluetooth headsets. Bluetooth adds extra delay that varies by headset, so wired headphones work best for short delays.

Getting Started
Put on headphones, set the delay to around 50–100 ms, press Start and speak. Then adjust until your speech feels slower and steadier.

Built by a UK speech and language therapist. One-time purchase: no subscription, no ads, no account needed.

## DAF Pro Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Slow speech down"
This has helped me massively to slow my speech down and reduce anxiety when speaking in public and with clients on the phone. It's helped make myself clearly understood. It also helps me manage my breathing which makes me appear more confident and assured. Excellent product
-- Original Fembot, 2017-07-30

### ***** "Brilliant"
Great app , worked perfectly. I'm an adult stutterer and have biggest blocks on phone calls. Although app doesn't work when taking phone calls on iPhone, I use it when on land line with one ear on speaker buds - really increased my fluency
-- Metboyfg, 2013-07-20

### ***** "Fantastic app"
Finding this app really useful and easy to use. Have contacted the developers and always had prompt replies with friendly information. Cant recommend highly enough. Download this app .
