## Daikin Comfort Control Description
Control your Daikin air-condition system from anywhere!

The Comfort Control app lets you control your Daikin air conditioning system from the comfort of your living room or from anywhere in the world as long as there is an active internet connection. The comfort Control app works with most Wi-Fi routers, both those with and those without a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button. An internet connection is required for set up.

If the indoor unit does not have built-in Wi-Fi, a Daikin North America LLC wireless adapter is required for each indoor unit you want to control with this app.

## Daikin Comfort Control Reviews in United States

### *---- "It really is this bad"
Trying to add it wifi and it gives me a dumb error and directs me to a FAQ page that has a 404. Translation. “It doesn’t work and we don’t care “. If you haven’t bought yet, don’t
-- Smart home setup, 2026-05-23

### *---- "WiFi option not reliable"
This app is not user friendly. The unit is difficult to get set up on the app and rarely works on the app correctly. Very poor app with no support.
-- Stephj088, 2026-05-03

### *---- "App sucks so do these units"
Save yourself the hundreds of dollars for the remote app. This system sucks!!
-- dcvamech, 2026-04-26

### *---- "Wtf is this in 2026"
Can’t believe this is an app in 2026. This is absurd. Always fails connection and can’t warm up my home while at work
-- Gandhi.D, 2026-02-11

### *---- "Absolute trash"
I have had two Daiken units for three years now. The app looses Connection very frequently. I was busy traveling and not at home. The units lost connection to the cloud and turned on AC in the middle of 12f weather. This is un acceptable. Do not buy these units. Go with Mr Cool or Mitsubishi.
-- R.L.S. Trucking LLC, 2025-12-16

### *---- "Worst app ever"
I’ve never left a review for an app. But wow this needs to win worst ever. It’s takes a whole day off work to set it up and then one you finally get connected…it disconnects! Most frustrating thing ever
-- schiva, 2025-08-20

### *---- "The worst possible investment a waste of money"
I have had the wifi adapter devices for 4 years and for the 6-9 months that it worked it was great to the tune of $800 for two adapters. Then depending on power outages or other things that happen requiring resets of internet I have tracked the failure of the success to connect to my phone for monitoring. It’s like it never works correctly. Yesterday I spent 3 hours trying to reset one of the AC adapters and it never worked. One adapter works but for some reason you cannot connect another device in the app. So now I am rebooting everything including the app. And trying to see what happens. Oh and by the way you can’t find any FAQs online or even calling leads you down a rabbit hole of waiting for hours only to find that you need to call someone else. It’s just not worth it! So frustrating.

### *---- "As bad as it gets"
I am currently abroad and trying to control my units from the other side of the world. The Daikin units itself were expensive and so were the WiFi units. Today when I woke up the whole house was set to wrong temperatures even though I have deleted all scheduling in their terrible app days earlier. I have a smart home with 150 things, everything works great except the terrible Daikin app. The app has 1.4 in reviews on the App Store. Is it that much to ask for that it does simple things of setting the right temp at the right time as it was advertised to do? You remove a schedule in their app, and it confirms you do so but still it’s there, lingering and invisible to the user. A quick search and I find thousands of other users with the exact same problem our installer said he stopped working with Daikin since their units and support is useless. If they cared they would have spent a minute on fixing the bugs. DKN cloud is also extremely problematic and drops connections constantly.
-- Strugglebrother, 2025-04-12

### *---- "Failed again"
The unit connected to the Wi-Fi for about a year and then didnt. So I reconnected it and it worked again for a year and then it disconnected. Now in the third year, I cannot connect to the Wi-Fi at all despite numerous attempts. I am very good at this stuff so it’s not my fault. It’s their fault.
-- snerdly vouchsafer, 2025-02-07

### *---- "Terrible"
App doesn’t match documentation. Nothing is intuitive. Worthless & Daikin should be ashamed to publish this.
