Description

Control your Daikin air-condition system from anywhere!

The Comfort Control app lets you control your Daikin air conditioning system from the comfort of your living room or from anywhere in the world as long as there is an active internet connection. The comfort Control app works with most Wi-Fi routers, both those with and those without a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button. An internet connection is required for set up.

If the indoor unit does not have built-in Wi-Fi, a Daikin North America LLC wireless adapter is required for each indoor unit you want to control with this app.

Bad bad Daikin

5elmer on

The app is worthless. Have been trying to make it work for years. Next time I will buy another brand.

Does Not Work Across Networks

jamgood96 on

There’s no way to manage a unit via IP, meaning if your system isn’t on the same network this app is useless.

Continues to work just fine

PlentyGood on

I see many reviews that say nasty things about different stuff, I normally think that they want the moon! This app works fairly well. I wish I could be a little easier, but honestly it does the job. After 4 years of working I really don’t have anything bad to say about it. Thanks

Pure Garbage

Does even connect, let alone work. Since this is an advertised feature it is totally dishonest to not actually provide it. I’d charge the company for my wasted time if I could.

Worst app

Beef3333 on

Have to login to the remote system even when local and even then the app does. It support all the features. Simple thing like fan speed is not possible to change so you have to try and jump between remote and app which breaks even more things. Will 100% change to different unit and for anyone who sees all the reviews before buying, know it’s as bad as it sounds.

God awful app to go with a equally awful WiFi experience

Dismack on

The extremely backward and over priced WiFi adapter gets you the extremely poor experience with the app as well. If my incompetent brother had not talked me into a Daikin unit, I’d have gone with a Mr cool for a better unit and vastly better experience.

Gary is the BEST!

ChristineLoC on

Ureka!! Finally found a tech that walked me through set-up. Gary was awesome! He go us all good to go. We figured out that we needed to connect through 2.4g Not out 5g and we were trying to connect with Net gear which I think has probably 5g or something that wasn’t compatible to our adaptors. Gary helped us through many calls to daikin and we did it. One major clue is dont finalize password until all units are on your app Everything is working the way it should. Patience is key!

Still awful

MLHVt on

The company obviously does not care about the consumer. Same complaints over the past few years. I had to change internet providers and lost the app capability. Was told by the co after long calls that I had to have a service tech. None in our area anymore. Probably due to how numerous the complaints are! Just a terrible customer service co. Clueless. No help is out there for us!

Does not connect

teliusea on

Despite the horrific reviews, I still decided to give Daikin Wi-Fi adapter a shot. It turns out to be a huge waste of money and time, and worst of all, no one seems to be able to help! First there are literally dozens of “DAIKIN” apps on App Store. I am in the U.S. so I am supposed to use this one? Extremely confusing and user unfriendly. Then I tried to set up my BRP069B41 with my Emuras. However, although physically connected, I simply cannot make my Emura show up in the app! The 2 ways offered from the app both failed relentlessly and repeatedly. to connect, both failed: 1) Using AP, my iPhone can connect to it's AP wifi no problem, but then the app says smartphone failed to connect to a adapter. WHY??? 2) Using WPS setup, it successfully connected to my router (and it shows up in my router's device list) and the RUN led has turned solid. The the app then says no units found. WHY??? DAIKIN is literally destroying its own brand if such basic stuff can’t be fixed and I won’t hesitate a little to spread the words.

Terrible

Doesn't work! What a scam. Will be replacing with Samsung.
