I really want to like this app. The iCloud syncing, iPad version, privacy-respecting data handling, CSV export, and other financial management features are all great. The app also has a visually appealing GUI. It has a lot to recommend it in my opinion. However, I find the GUI and financial graphing styles lacklustre and ultimately unhelpful in building a clear visual intuition of my finances. I feel like I have to squint at the bar charts to understand their meaning, and the home page “stacked bricks” aren’t very visually intuitive, at least to me. I value getting an “at a glance” visual overview of my accounts, and this app’s current approach leaves me feeling like I can’t get that intuition very well from its’ charts. As alternate examples, I like the curve line from “Budget Burndown”, or the “Buddy” budgeting app’s per-icon pie graphs. I also like “Subtotal”’s use of a magnitude-over-time graph for showing balances over time. In general, a greater use of pie charts, magnitude curves over time, and similar graphs that give a sense of visual proportion (e.g spending vs. max allocated budget) would go a long way towards improving my experience. Thanks to the developer for their work. I hope this proves to be helpful feedback.
Have been using this app for years now and to be honest I’ve had a few issues with the Dropbox sync (my fiancée and I sync the app across our devices) but every time I contact support, the developers reply within a few hours and either release a beta that fixes the issue or help me resolve the problem. The app is very simple and works, that’s all I need in an app that keeps me in check with my daily budget. Thanks guys!
Great little app! Simple and easy to understand. A great way to begin getting out of debt.

This app is confusing me more than anything plus it’s not even restoring my backup. I wished I kept my money cause I don’t know how this app helps.

Easily gets you to your saving targets!
Love this app, use it daily. Major points of improvement would be the Analysis portion, charts are very unintuitive to use and can't zoom in on anything to get more detail. "Newer" vs "Older" scrolling is inconsistent and coloring on Big Expenses just all becomes a grey blob after a while. Would be nice to also be able to assign big spendings to a category rather than just putting in a name. Export function only works with Mail app.
