I lived In Wauconda for my entire life until we moved 6 1/2 years ago. I have had the Daily Harold app on my ipad and phone for 20 years plus. I looked forward every morning to reading your paper with my morning coffee. I looked forward to being informed on “Lake county news” including Wauconda and other northwest suburban towns such as Fox Lake, Lake Zurich, Grayslake, and Waukegan to name a few. Now all I get in Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Naperville, and Des Plains. I want to see what is happening with Wauconda sports, but all I get is Fremd, Stevenson, Buffalo Grove and Wheeling. I have had my Herold app for more than 20 years but now the formate has changed. I called customer service to see if there was a different version I needed to switch to and was told “ it is what it is “! Why no news of significance in Top Stories. If I wanted a few local stories about restaurants closing, I can look up that “news” in The Patch. The Business section has more articles than usual, a lot of repeats and only one line of text showing. No articles for DuPage County today. At least the strange characters seem to be gone now. Love to be able to move from section to section. But in the last few weeks every time I try to read on my iPad mini, the app just shuts down. Very frustrating.
