That reason being I was disappointed that the Detective was male. I like this series for the female detective. Also I was grossly disappointed that the bonus game had nothing to do with the main story and was all about Christmas and Dickens just because that was loosely London related. UPDATE POST DEVELOPER RESPONSE: I see from your response that you have no reading comprehension. I explained I had played all other games in this series and had left this one for last as it was the least appealing. I was correct that it did not live up to all the others THAT I HAD ALREADY PLAYED. -- TofuPage, 2025-08-16 ### **--- "Stop highjacking my podcast" Usually I can play a podcast at the same time I play a game. This game complete highjacks all the sound. -- Areohaxandana, 2025-04-18 ### ***** "Awesome" One of the best games I’ve played in a long time. It kept my interest. It’s not short so I didn’t feel cheated. -- Bsusie, 2025-04-09 ### ****- "Fun!" This game had just the right mixture between games and hidden objects. The music was actually nice and the voice actors were far better than many games I’ve played in the past. I will definitely be trying another “Dark City” game! -- JessicaforJoy, 2025-03-02 ### *---- "You have to pay to play" It gives you just enough free play to get sucked in and then it costs to play. With so many free games, why would I pay to play this game? Immediately uninstalled -- Imnotpaying8, 2024-11-28 ### ***** "Great game" I’m new to this series, and love it. Between the puzzles, graphics and story line, it’s one of the best, in my opinion. One question, is there a certain order I need to play this series or are they independent of each other. Thanks for the great game. I’m playing the London game now. -- merlinsword, 2024-08-07 ### ****- "Fun game but too easy" I like the game. Aesthetically very pleasing and great story. But there are too few puzzles ab the ones they had are super easy. -- Working class, 2024-04-13 ### ***** "Good" Hey this start out with witchcraft but it lightens up. Nice long game. It’s a large map, and things can get confusing and it gets a bit slow at times. I like the drawing, the story, and most of the puzzles. Very good! -- Patriotsfan45, 2024-02-28 ### ***** "Dark city London." Great game. It was very challenging. I’m what you call a novice player. I Like to enjoy the game. I always buy a game with a guide. So when I get stuck. I can reference it. This the second game l have played. I can honestly say I use it very little. Make think about before using. Thanks for making a great game. Chris -- Novice 69, 2024-02-06 ### ***** "Excellent game!!!" This was a joy to play. The playtime was sufficient as was that of the bonus game. I experienced no problems throughout. Very well designed and programmed.
