Certain pages that have been visited before while on turn dark when turned off, forcing you to go into the settings and toggle it on then off again. According to previous reviewers, the images would turn all-black when visiting certain sites; but for my case, the brightness of the images gets reset until you go back and readjust the settings. Also I think on websites with a dark mode already look a bit hideous overall, lol. An update to fix these two issues would be nice, as a previous avid user of this Safari extension. -- MurfreeDolYou, 2026-07-24 ### *---- "Consistently doesn’t switch right" When it’s daytime pages still load in dark mode even though the extension says “disabled by iOS settings” during daytime -- anon90112, 2026-06-15 ### *---- "needs update" safari not showing search image results & webpage fonts are cutoff when dark mode enabled -- xes8, 2026-05-29 ### **--- "Bugged" Forces dark mode even when it’s set to “disabled” on every site. -- mpson03, 2026-05-25 ### **--- "Pic shows ay black" The picture don’t load and stay blank or black I have to turn off extension and turn it back on. This seems to work until I move on to another site. -- Maveium, 2026-05-20 ### *---- "Stopped working once I updated to iOS 26" Stopped working once I updated to iOS 26. Had to disable. Please update! -- Farmer Joe (sometimes GI), 2026-05-02 ### *---- "Good when it worked" Dark Night was worth purchasing because it worked; it no longer does. Text and image rendering issues with the latest version of iOS make it inoperable. Hoping I can change this review some day after it gets fixed. -- r y e x n, 2026-04-25 ### *---- "No longer works" Overlays websites with black, impossible to see anything -- BBKingAdrock, 2026-04-19 ### *---- "Broken rendering after iOS 26.4. No way to contact developer." This Safari extension worked good enough for the majority of the time I had an install installed, but after 26.4 update on iPhone the rendering broke completely and all the pictures and colors are just covered in black. I do not see a way to contact the developer to let them know, but I hope they see this review and update their extension. -- richempire, 2026-04-07 ### *---- "No long works properly on iOS 26" It’s a shame that it’s been a year since this app has received any significant up even to make sure it works properly on the latest build. It use to work flaw. less. ly. For a looooong time but ever since the latest update to iOS it no longer reliable updates website. It actually changed the look of sites so much. The only work around is to quickly toggle system light and dark mode which then fixes it temporarily, until you got to the same site again in the future it’s so frustrating. -- NonstopRug, 2026-02-22 [View all Dark Night reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Dark Night Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | France | Utilities | #10 | | Top Paid | India | Utilities | #30 | | Top Paid | Norway | Utilities | #37 | | Top Paid | Germany | Utilities | #55 | | Top Paid | Ukraine | Utilities | #60 | | Top Paid | Vietnam | Utilities | #73 | | Top Paid | Belarus | Utilities | #76 | | Top Paid | France | Overall | #77 | | Top Paid | Japan | Utilities | #80 | | Top Paid | South Korea | Utilities | #101 | | Top Paid | Russia | Utilities | #135 | | Top Paid | Kazakhstan | Utilities | #154 | | Top Paid | India | Overall | #159 | | Top Paid | Peru | Utilities | #162 | | Top Paid | Azerbaijan | Utilities | #221 | | Top Paid | Indonesia | Utilities | #238 | | Top Paid | Romania | Utilities | #242 | | Top Paid | Hungary | Utilities | #246 | ## Dark Night Discovered Keywords -
