Description

Dash Cam - Car Video Camcorder is an accident camera which records the traffic situation continuously in a loop. When it detects a high acceleration, be it an accident or just strong braking, it stores the last minute into the video library. It allows to render all important telemetry data, such as speed, location, pitch, heading, distance, time, date, etc. directly into your video while it is recorded with your devices' camera. Thus any manipulation is nearly impossible. The 'head up display' instruments are freely configurable in size and they are movable in the picture frame.

► Configuration
You can configure the length of the video loop and the 'incident saving delay'. The latter ensures that even the seconds after the crash are recorded as well. Further you can configure the strength of the acceleration that is needed to trigger saving the video. You might need to play around with that threshold depending on your car and your driving habits.

• Heading : Graphical instrument displaying current magnetic compass heading angle; relative to true north

• Roll/Pitch : Graphical instrument displaying roll and pitch of your camera
• G-Force : Graphical instrument displaying horizontal and vertical G-Forces experienced by your cam

• GPS Position : GPS coordinates of your location as 1-or 2-line text display

• Distance : Distance traversed since start. Can be reset in ‘Settings’ by the user anytime

Great app

Grreat app I have just started working with it I cannot find the recordings that I have made on it but I’m sure it will come to me in time other than that it is really accurate and does a nice job thank you

Not great

I bet the Pro version of the app is pretty good. But this free version sucks. I’m driving down my local road with this app on, presumably recording, and up comes a video! A video ad while I’m driving! Not certain, but I’m pretty sure it’s illegal in my province to watch a video on my phone while driving my car. After the video, I needed to reach over and hit the small “x” in the top right corner to get the dashcam back on. Crazy. So dumb. I used it the once and immediately erased it. Hopefully I’ll find another app to use.

Useless

The app will allow the phone to dim out and lock ... and thus stop the recording. Unless it’s the incessant ads that stop it? Either way don’t buy, it useless.

Bummer

The tools option is difficult to use. Chose something else.

This app is crap!! Saves everything to your memory instead of looping Can not shut off the impact message which is far too sensitive even after turning the settings to the lowest

Dismayed

Wants to freeze whenever you turn on music I love the graphics but the yellow dot is very annoying and should be too one side. I have an I phone 7 with lots of memory but there is no option for playback . Focus needs to be more accurate. Fix these problems and you will have a great app

Camera issue

Having problems with the camera in low lighting, it work well before not sure what change, giving a strobing effect. It doing in as well in full light like the camera constantly refocusing and the graphics will stay when I rotate my phone and the compass is not indicating proper direction. Other than that good app.
