## DayRate Description
Ever wonder whether you were paid the right amount for your day's work? Use DayRate to make the math easy!

Just fill in your day's hours from your timecard and DayRate will calculate any overtime wages you're owed. Then when you get your paycheck, you can verify that you were paid the right amount.

You can also use DayRate to help calculate your billable hours when creating invoices!

This app is designed for use in the film industry. It follows the industry standard for overtime rates (1.5x after 8 hours, 2x after 12), and helps calculate your hourly rate depending on the amount of hours you're guaranteed when you book a job.

DayRate is by no means legally binding, and should only be used as a tool to estimate the wages you are owed.

## DayRate Reviews in United States

### ***** "Possibly the best app ever."
No wait, definitely the best app ever.
-- Alex123456789012, 2025-10-13

### ***** "The best app for a freelancer"
I love this app and have used it for years. My only idea that could improve it is if you could enter a value for the hourly rate to get your day rate. It’s rare I need that but it would be helpful
-- Akat16, 2023-02-28

### ***** "Nice simple timecard app"
My only gripe is I wish the time section was formatted as HH:MM.
-- throwaway3643653, 2021-09-01

### ***** "Great tool 👏🏻"
I love the simplicity and ease of use of this app. Why can’t everything in life be this straightforward??
