We believe in keeping it simple, no need for post-editing. With just one tap, you can capture the most authentic vintage photos or videos, letting you enjoy the moment without distractions.
Dazz camera is inspired by classic film cameras from the 80s. We’ve sampled real film stock to recreate the colors and textures of vintage photography. Dazz camera supports shooting in various retro film formats like 135 film, 120 film, toy cameras, slide film, half-frame cameras, instant camera, 3D film photography, disposable camera, and more.
Besides film photography, Dazz camera also offers modern digital camera color profiles, including compact camera, CCD camera, and we’re constantly adding more.
You can also capture videos with a retro vibe, using formats like 8mm film camera, 16mm film camera, VHS tape camera, DCR camera, movie camera, and slide projector.

- Save the negative and reprocess it to achieve different exposure and color temperature. (Available on select cameras)
- Double exposure effect by layering two photos.
- Timer for delayed shots.
- Flash.
- Import your existing photos for editing. (Available on select cameras)
- Adjust color temperature and tint.
- Switch between preset focal lengths or adjust freely.
- Tweak exposure compensation.
- Adjust ISO and shutter speed.

Removed editing, now a paid ad on
They’ve removed the editing feature from the app, now you have to download and pay for another app when it used to be rolled into one.
Need a photo booth filter
Love the app , use it all the time. Really want to see vintage photo booth filter. Actual photo booths are so expensive , this would be useful for so many people, especially for junk jornal community, it’s very popular rn
Shutter mode
Why did my shutter effect just disappear in my phone
doesn’t allow importing pictured
my dazz cam doesn’t allow me import pictures on my iphone 15 pro max because it says “r series cameras do not support imports from albums”. Before I was able to do it no problem, my friend with the same phone is also allowed to import the pictures.
Can’t get it working!
I can’t get this app to do anything, I’ve chosen my picture but then there’s no effects and nowhere to go there’s a share button a button that leads to an editing app to download and a delete button ! I must be missing something but what !

Almost perfect
Love this app, having a great time taking photos with it, but the lack of support still for the camera button is a little disappointing. Edit: The developer has suggested using the volume button as an alternative. This does not solve the lack of support for the dedicated camera button as most other camera apps now have.
