Tried a few other free db meter apps-they all seemed to read high(25/35db in not quite silence)this one reads around 10db under the same conditions,although I've not compared it to a calibrated meter a lower reading would suggest that it's set up better.
Does not work on iPhone 6 ios9.1
If does not work has wasted my time and is not fit for purpose. This app cannot be recommended since iPhone 6 has been out for over a year and iOS 9.1 at least a month. Bit of a joke really.
Not working on iPhone 6s running iOS9.0.1
Used to work great but has not made the leap to the new phone. Not sure if it’s a hardware or software issue, app opens up but there’s no sound level registering. I’ve checked the privacy setting to make sure it’s allowed to use the microphone but still no good. Please update app or advise.

Does not work on iPhone 6s, worked fine on iPhone 4.
